Very poor unfortunately

They came out to fit an extension to the alarm we had already fitted (by them) the engineer came did the work and fitted the equipment. Then after they had done the job and billed an exorbitant amount of money they told me that the current alarm panel wouldn’t support the new alarm. Surely they would have known this on day one as they installed the alarm. So here I am with an alarm that doesn’t work and equipment that I can’t use and the cherry on top; they charged me for it.

Cannot recommend them.

Terrible Service - MacAlarms Curragh , Kildare .

We had an alarm installed by Macalarms of the Curragh in Kildare in our premises in Carlow in October 2015 . We experienced issues almost from day one with their accounts person constantly calling us stating we had not paid the bill when in fact the payment was made direct from our bank to theirs. Even sending proof did not seem enough for them . Months later they acknowledged the payment however this was only after they sent an engineer who abused our staff and pushed his way into our building shouting obscenities . We did receive an apology from the owner however this morning 6 months later we call the company as there was a fault reported by the system and it asked us to call an engineer . We called at 9.30 AM on the 30.09.2016 to be told an engineer would call us within an hour . 5 Hours later no call . We call back to be informed they have called us multiple times and left messages on our phone . I can confirm we had no phone call and no messages had been left . We were then informed that they could send an engineer to us on the 15th of October 2016 . YES 15 days after the alarm fault with the system they provided ! . However this was not the worst of it . They actually wanted payment today 15 days before they would send an engineer . Please beware of the business practices of this company and do not make the mistake we did of dealing with them .
