Great service, no problems
I was hesitant at first because of reviews here saying it was just a 'shell company' and because I couldn't find an actual address on the website. However, I took a punt because the battery I needed was so much dearer elsewhere (e.g. iFixit, which included tools and adhesive remover I didn't need). I paid with PayPal for protection.
I quickly got a confirmation emails stating that 'macbatterystore.co.uk is owned by AolsteCell Co.,Ltd' and the battery arrived when they said it would.
It is quite normal for companies to trade via several brands, each with their own website specialising in one market - in this case, Apple battery replacements, and not necessarily suspicious.
According to hkcorporationsearch dot com (/companies/3043917) the company was incorporated in Hong Kong on 30-APR-2021.
AolsteCell is a trademark of Shenzhen Aolisite Electronics Co., Ltd, according to trademarkelite dot com (/europe/trademark/trademark-detail/018300486/AolsteCell)
I had no problems with the battery. I was able to fit it without solvents by using a hairdrier on a low setting to soften the adhesive. It was showing only 5% charge on arrival, which is less than I would expect (at least 20% to preserve the battery) but it charged to 100% just fine.
I would also have appreciated an invoice being emailed or downloadable from the website.
Otherwise I can reassure other buyers from this positive experience.

The battery and level of service were all top class but I would have bought elsewhere if I'd seen MAP's comment about this being a shell company because I try to avoid buying from China wherever possible due to their dreadful human rights record.

Replacement battery for a MacBook Air…
Replacement battery for a MacBook Air ordered and delivered within 3 days. New battery showed 18% charge so connected to mains and 100% in a couple of hours. It has held that amount for about 2 hours. Very pleased so far..

Pro Tip: Don't charge your battery yet. Let it run down to zero before charging. and then charge it to 100% to ensure your Mac Book battery is fully calibrated. Also, do a SMC and PRAM reset and you should be good to go.

Dummy company, China. Non-transparent.
This is a dummy company and it keeps you in the dark who the actual company is. Only through PayPal transaction I learned they actually are Shenzhen Aolisite Electronic Co., Ltd operating from China. Their own website tab 'about' mentions nothing like that. It is not transparent. It leaves open questions about data privacy, workers welfare, ecological standards, ... quite apart from transparency.
