Delighted to find such a range of knitting wool (and fabrics). Prices are generally fair. After quietly exploring all that was on offer a young lady quickly told me that one of my 3 choices was not available in sufficient quantity. However she went downstairs to find my 1st choice I wanted, then rummaged around in the storeroom for sufficient of my 2nd choice. Whilst she was helping me she was charming, delightful and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to going there again. Very easy to get to, eg a short walk from the 390 bus from Victoria Station.

All items I required were in stock plus order was confirmed quickly and dispatched for me to receive faster than expected
I would definitely recommend

Not just the most comprehensive stock of fabrics, interlinings, haberdashery and everything one needs for garment & millinery construction but the staff are SO knowledgeable about their stock and how to use it - one can overhear them engaging in useful advice with customers. I have been shopping with them since I was a student and they were in Dering Street and it is very reassuring that their dependability continues - and when one cannot visit the store, online too!!

Despite a busy Saturday and our small purchases (three cotton reels and a pack of needles), nothing was too much trouble for sales consultant Kimberley. Unflappable, patient, and knowledgeable, she is a shining example of exemplary service. We'll be back.

Found the Poland St shop after recommendation from staff at Liberty. Found them helpful, not pushy and non intrusive ( Didn’t pester me constantly)

Polite, helpful and although they chatted amongst themselves while I browsed and gave “ advice” to a newbie Knitter, made me feel welcome.

I had to give this review a star, otherwise I couldn't proceed to this box. What a rude bunch of staff you are. I came in yesterday at 5pm, still an hour of trading to go, looking for some dress material. Thumbed through material. Looked at the various options, rummaged in the remnants although I was looking for black office dress material. Walked to back of store, looking at the staff, trying to catch their eye and all they could talk about was what new skills they were going to learn. Maybe you should learn some customer skills in looking out for the customer that actually wants to buy some material from you. You lost a sale and for that, you got a bad review.
Sorry, but that's the facts and that's the way it goes.
