Very bad

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing.
I ordered two iPhones:

First order: I never received the iPhone. Instead, I received a piece of wood, which makes me think the delivery company or the seller scammed me.

Second order: After completing the payment and waiting for 5 days, I contacted support to check my order status. To my surprise, they told me I need to pay extra money again before they ship it.

This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I want this issue resolved immediately or a full refund.

The worst online shopping experience of my life. Avoid!

Update: It has been a month since I ordered and paid for the product. Still no answer, no shipping and no cashback. After this review was posted - they stopped responding to my emails like a petty child. If you want to deal with a company that behaves like a petty child when it's been told off - by all means do business with Mac Sales.

I bought a OWC Aura Pro X2 2 To Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro on April 15th 2023. During the shopping it was clearly stated on their site that product is in stock and shipping will take place next week on Monday since I was purchasing on Saturday. My package was (supposedly) with the carrier on April 17th and I was given a tracking code.
On April 18th the shipping site stated the package is ready to leave for delivery. This is when everything stopped to this day (it's may 4th while I'm writing this review and the shipping company site still has April 18th ready for delivery notice as the latest update).

I contacted MacWay customer service on April 21st. Since then it was generic response after generic response. So much so it seemed I was communicating with a bot. The response was always the same: they are internally investigating with the carrier where my package is.

Customer service communication of this company in a nutshell:
- brutally slow (usually takes 2-3 days for a response)
- without any concern for the customer (Melissa & Gwendoline - you should really get another job that doesn't require communication with customers)
- impossible to escalate to a customer service manager or anyone higher-up - your requests are simply ignored with a dash of - "we are investigating with the carrier" for the 100th time
- they also ignored my request to send another package while they are internally investigating where the current one was
- when asked for a refund I was ignored and still waiting for a response to this day

My next step is to file an official complaint to the EU consumer protection @ Justice Europa just to get my money back. I don't care about the product anymore

I just hope they are civilized enough to make a refund so this doesn't have to end up in a claims court.

Horrible company with horrible communication. I lost time, couldn't do my job since the product was directly connected with my work, not to mention their awful service negatively impacted my mental health as well and the problem is still not resolved to this day.

Just simply avoid this company at all costs.

As usual rapid delivery of the webcam and products bought were flawless, needless to say that I didn't even have to open the Usuer's Manual !

MacBook sleeve

Ordered a simple Be.eZ MacBook sleeve through the Belgian webshop, €49,99. Status was in stock and quick delivery was possible.

1) The €5 discount voucher code didn’t work. No big deal, whatever.
2) More than a week since the initial order, still didn’t receive anything.
3) Got a call from MacWay Paris to say it isn’t in stock and will be sent from the UK, delivery will take 48hours.
4) Still even hasn’t been sent to date.
5) Called MacWay Brussels to get an update; the person on the phone couldn’t speak English nor Dutch. On top of that their phone literally sounds like a potatoe. I literally couldn’t understand anything and had to ask to repeat whatever he said several times before just hanging up the phone.
