New shutters fitted by this company are excellent. The attention to detail and the finish of the installation was above and beyond my expectation. A superb job by a company I would not hesitate to recommend.

I am so glad I found Made for Shade. I used them 2 years ago and just loved the finished product. Being a family company they are easy to relate to. Nothing is too much trouble. They are so precise when fitting and the quality shows. I look at other shutters that had been fitted close to where I live and feel mine look a far superior quality. So much so I had the window’s upstairs fitted. Would I use again? Yes!

From the first phonecall to the installation, Made For Shade were brilliant. They're reliable, professional and very enthusiastic about all things shutters. During the consultation, choices were explained and I felt very confident that the advice I was given was based on experience and really good customer satisfaction. During the fitting they were very tidy and efficient. My rooms were transformed by the beautiful shutters. I could not be happier.

Made for Shade are a fab family business. I initially obtained quote from a couple of different shutters' providers (the usual suspects), and Ellie and Mike were the most informative when they came to my house. They made suggestions about what they've seen in similar style houses and were just generally the most informative. The end result is really great. Good quality, stylish and absolutely no concerns about leaving them to crack on with installation whilst I was at work. Thanks guys!

Ellie and Dad (sorry I don't remember his name 🙈) were fabulous. Very punctual and knowledgeable about shutters. They were happy to go over any details and repeat them when necessary. They were extremely neat and tidy when fitting the shutters and happy to play with my 2 year old when he insisted they play tractors with him 😂

We have had made-to-measure shutters supplied and fitted by Made For Shade on a number of occasions over the past 10 years as we have slowly renovated our Victorian home. They provide an excellent service and the shutters are very well made and fitted.
Mike and Ellie are extremely knowledgable, patient, tidy workers and have a wealth of experience. A fantastic family business which I highly recommend. Several neighbours have gone on to have ‘Made for Shade’ shutters fitted and are extremely happy with the end result, as are we.

Ellie arrived at our home armed with bags and boxes of shutter styles/colours etc and a wealth of shutter knowledge
We knew what we wanted and were never ill advised or pressured into having something else.
Ellie did a measure and explained what happened next, wait time ( all good things come to those that wait)!! fitting etc.
Mike came out a few days later and did an in-depth measure and again explained about fitting and how the work would be done.
So 16 weeks on ( told you all good things come to those that wait)!
We received a phone call from Jane to set up a fitting date.
Our shutters was fitted in September and I absolutely ADORE them.
Ellie and Mike have a fab relationship and their work ethic is first class.
Jane, Mike and Ellie it's so good to know that family run businesses are still out there and I would have no hesitation in recommending Made For Shade.

Quite simply we love Made for Shade! We have used the twice now in both properties we have lived in and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Mike, Jane and Ellie are brilliant from quoting and measuring to delivery and installation they keep you informed and up-to-date. Our current home has odd shaped windows but that wasn’t a problem for Mike and he came up with some great solutions for how we could make it work. Dealing with them is a real pleasure and the shutters are beautiful and good quality.

This is a great company. They do everything they say they are going to do. From measuring up, the quotation and the fitting. When my Shutters were ready which was when they said they would be ,they installed a few days later. We are really happy with the Shutters and have definitely enhanced the windows. Quality product and quality company and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

Following a house refurb, I had always wanted shutters for my house. I had been able to get a couple of quotes but felt underwhelmed by the salesperson. I saw Made For Shutters on the internet and decided to give them a call. I'm very glad I did. Ellie popped out to see me and discuss my options. The choice was fabulous and the advice given was sound. There was no pressure for us to buy from them. Ellie and Mike did all of the fitting, they were true professionals, hardworking, courteous and very tidy. The end job is absolutely gorgeous. The shutters have surpassed my expectations. As a couple who didn't really know what we wanted, Ellie and Mike were more than helpful in showing us various designs, colours, materials and samples and really helped bring the vision we had in our heads to life.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Made for Shade. The family team were friendly and professional throughout the whole process and we are absolutely delighted with our shutters. Having been through the recent hot spell, our south-facing garden room was so much cooler. Top notch!

This company came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint! It took us a while to find a company that would provide a significant transformation of our home. It was actually my aunt that recommended this small family run business.

It took several discussions, texts and emails to agree the final specs for the colour and style. Ellie, who did the initial walk through, was brilliant and exceptionally patient, as we worked through the details. Although the order took a while to come through, the final product was worth the wait.

The installation was done with speed, skill and craftmanship. We now have a transformed home, with shutters throughout. Well done, excellent service and once again ‘thank you’ to the Made for Shade.
