Ash of the Roche shop was fantastic at designing our kitchen. He helped accommodate all of our needs and I would highly recommend them.

Alex at the Rotherham store was incredibly helpful, he explained things clearly. He gave very clear advice about what might and might not work, without making me feel pressured to make a decision immediately. Through other renovations I accidentally damaged a bit of the kitchen and he has been really helpful in ordering the correct parts to repair the damage I caused

Magnet are claiming that I arranged installation independently. The installation was arranged in their showroom by their kitchen designer. He found the installer, drew up a costing and schedule of works and the first time I met the installer their employee escorted him personally to my property. When I complained initially to Magent they sent the same installer back to my property. They are now not responding to my emails. They are legally responsible, so looks like I might have to resort to the small claims court.

The kitchen itself is great but the workmanship on the installation, especially the tiles could be much better. The work has not been completed with due care and skill I purchased the kitchen and full installation / project management from the Sutton (London) branch. There has been absolutely no quality control from them. I would expect that for the price the designer, or somebody else, should have come out to check the work. The tiles have not been sealed. I'm having my bathroom tiled by a specialist tiler and he said it looked like it had been done by someone who has never been done tiles before. before. They damaged my lounge wall during delivery. The installer came back to repair it but has done a botch job. He filled in the holes and slapped paint over it that doesn't even match what's on there. On the corners of the units there are rough edges which he told me he could do nothing about. I think the basic problem is that they used a builder who in his own words "Does everything." You really need specialist tilers, kitchen unit fitters, plumbers etc to do the job properly. I paid a lot of money (£10k) for the kitchen and I didn't expect what to some extent looks like a DIY job. At the moment I would not recommend them and am considering how I am going to deal with them now. However, if they re do the work to an acceptable professional standard my rating may go up. I definitely don't want to have anything else to do with the installer and now he has had his one chance to rectify the problems I can refuse him under the Consumer Rights Act. They need to send somebody else

Ujjal is a great designer. He listened to our ideas and clearly explained the different products and options available within our budget. He also gave clear rationale for what wouldn't work in the space we have.

Ordered and planned a kitchen from Magnet, Haverfordwest.
A date was set for the template to measure up for the island June 22nd.
My builder started work beginning of June. The island isn’t now being fitted until July 13th. It should have been completed end of June.
The plans were mixed up, half the kitchen was missing , a delivery date for missing parts was arranged and again they haven’t turned up.
The guy who planned the kitchen missed out putting a washing machine in.
I didn’t realise myself until we started the kitchen. Then again I’m not a kitchen planner.
All the kitchen is on halt because of the missing units.
The bathroom was designed by leeks, awesome service, a few missing parts but was personally delivered by the planner on time.

I spent a susbstantiaal amount of money on a kitchen. Less than a year into using the kitchen the plinth under the dishwasher started to rot. I was told I had to pay for a replacement and pay to have it installed. I complained to the ombudsman who said due to uncertainly they couldn’t say what caused it. So I have to foot the bill. Just be very careful if buying a magnet kitchen as the after care is dreadful.

Excellent design service from Charlotte at Magnet Great Western Rd branch and professional installation by Greg from GRD. Both have been very helpful from the start of the process to the end and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them both.

This wasn’t a full refit rather a small remodel of an existing magnet kitchen. Mitchell Gorman From the Doncaster was great, visited and measured up and discussed ideas. Mitchell replied to all my messsges and questions promptly. The kitchen arrived as arranged and looks fantastic

I recently had a Magnet kitchen installed. Initially Kyle from the Macclesfield branch came to measure the space. I subsequently had 2 long and detailed planning sessions with Kyle. He was extremely helpful and patient in describing all the options and explaining what would be possible. During the installation phase the Macclesfield branch was very flexible on timing the deliveries to fit in with the availability of my builder. A misunderstanding over the internal drawers for one of the units was quickly rectified. Due to the accuracy of Kyle's measurements there were no issues with the installation. I'm very pleased with the quality and appearance of the kitchen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Magnet kitchens to anyone.

After asking about some kitchen alterations that could be made, there was an estimate of the cost of some items, but was told fitters don't like to work on old kitchens and fitters were difficult to find. Nothing has happened since end April. A deposit of £500.00 was paid on Order No. 125046977.

Magnet kitchens were recommended by several people & Ash Burr from my local store at St Austell was recommended by a neighbour & I have not been disappointed.
I have mobility problems so getting to the store would have been difficult for me. But after an initial phone consultation, Ash arrived for our first appointment, armed samples of the cabinet doors & worktops I was interested in. My current kitchen does not work for me, with cupboards that are difficult to access & ones I can't reach as I'm too short & can't climb on steps to get to them. He spent time listening to my difficulties & taking on board suggestions I had regarding things that would make my life easier. It only took a couple of days for the plans to materialise, but I was delighted with what was being offered, including a particular oven I wanted, all of which were at what I considered was a reasonable price.
Ash was also very helpful in assisting with video phone calls, which are not always easy for those of us that are technically challenged! Just waiting for the new kitchen to arrive & be fitted! Well done so far Magnet!

Just had a kitchen fitted by Magnet@Rotherham, after 2x disappointing experiences with other companies we visited Magnet in Rotherham and was greeted by Alex Reynolds. Alex listened to what I wanted/dreamed of and brought it to life, his product knowledge from cabinets, accessories, appliances including offers was exceptional including the different types of worktops, identifying which would suit our needs most, From surveying to tweaking designs and fitting by their team nothing was too much trouble and I now have a stunning kitchen of my dreams with all mod cons and slightly under my budget

I bought my kitchen from Magnet over two years ago, and I’m still having to contact them about issues with the installation.

The main issue was a wall cupboard that bowed and cracked, despite the fact that I don’t even live in the property yet and there was nothing stored inside it. Naturally, I was concerned that it could eventually fall off the wall. Magnet eventually accepted that the cupboard had been installed incorrectly, but it still took them over four weeks to fix it.

To make matters worse, during the repair they cracked one of the cover panels. They came back today with a replacement and managed to crack that one too. At this point, I’m left wondering whether the problem is the installer or the quality of the products themselves.

I can only hope that once I finally start using the kitchen, further problems do not arise.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering a Magnet kitchen to think carefully before proceeding. The poor installation, ongoing defects, slow response times and lack of customer service have simply not been worth the stress. If I could go back and make the decision again, I would not purchase a kitchen from Magnet.

The minute I walked through the door I knew I was going to purchase my kitchen from Magnet. I was greeted by Julia Chang who was so very helpful and didn’t stop smiling. I had certain specifics in mind and each and every one of them were resourced and sorted. From Julia’s visit to me for measuring and suggestion of various ideas through to the delivery and after care she has been nothing but first class.
The kitchen is fabulous, the service was fabulous and I definitely can not recommend them enough - in fact I have !!

Ashleigh was extremely knowledgeable and informative. We had some off the shelf ideas which she was happy to consider and came up with innovative ways to get around issues. Would recommend.
