Needed to think / talk through some ideas about finishing off a swap-out of equipment in a kitchen. Jason at Canterbury Magnet Trade gave some ideas over the phone and then provided photos of stock items. After an easy in-store visit we finalised plans and made the order.

I felt that even though the ticket value of the items was less than £100, I got the same treatment as if I'd been ordering a kitchen well into four figures.

We booked our kitchen before lockdown at the Canterbury branch.
Karl and Damien could not have been more helpful working with us through a difficult time.
As I was fitting the kitchen myself and was furloughed, they even managed to bring the delivery date forward to accommodate our situation.
Overall fantastic experience from design to delivery with a professional team.

We worked closely with Chris at the Balham, London store and he was fantastic. Lock down had postponed our plans but as soon as he was able to, he got plans to us online. He catered for all our needs via email and telephone from planning and designing, buying to an outstanding post-delivery service. Chris always kept in touch and ensured we had everything we needed. When things needed to be changed, he did so without making a fuss. In this time of lock down, we received excellent service!

Thank you to Magnet Trade in Chester, especially Andrew Griffiths who knew exactly what I wanted in a new kitchen for my rental property, and helped me with the CAD design. Response was prompt during the Covid 19 lockdown when I really needed to get things moving with turning over the rental property. Kitchen is high quality with lovely oak worktops, well fitted by the James the kitchen fitter as well, who was recommended by Magnet and did a fantastic job.

Highly recommended magnet trade in Chester. Excellent service and design by Andrew Griffiths. I am very indecisive and he was very patient and helpful. Can't wait to receive my kitchen. Thanks Andrew

I have just had a really pleasurable kitchen design experience at Magnet Chester with Andrew Griffiths. After having a terrible experience from an extremely pushy sales person at Wren, I was delighted to speak to Andrew. He was knowledgeable and gave great advice, ultimately designing me my dream kitchen. I now can't wait to have my new kitchen fitted. Also, many thanks to Luke for getting me some samples so quickly during these times. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I am an LNPG member so I was quite ignorant into what things need doing and who to trust, but open to working with established organisations with credible reputations to do work for me as I build my property portfolio.

Unfortunately, and it may just be a one off unfortunate experience and, if others have better experience I hope it is still a lesson in caution.

I, through LNPG was in contact with Magnet in Sunderland. Due to the smooth talking of one rep there, Anthony Sanderson, he misled me about his history in the building industry. He said Magnet were short on installation people but offered to help. Anyhow I happily accepted the kitchen quote but since installation it has been left a mess, sink with no flange or popup for plug, no plumbing pieces for the sink and they turned off electric and gas for oven installation but yet it has been left undone since December. Also there may be panels missing as open spaces or not fitted properly, I honestly can't tell.

Anthony also bodged a lot of other work for me with flooring in another house (and didn't even quote me for a kitchen in my Jackson Street place after he saw it 🤔).

I realise through all of this Anthony may be a chancer who doesn't represent the Magnet brand fairly with what he does but my areas of concern are how was a bad design approved without all the parts needed (I am not a kitchen fitter so how could I know from a quote?) And if Anthony Sanderson, as much as he projects as being an RNLI hero is clearly not a good person and chances are he may have also tricked others into paying him to organise work but they weren't there to check up on him either with their work. And how does he get approved at Magnet If he is working for other people rather than selling kitchens. Are leads so low he has the time so he can get away with it?

I feel like a mug for spending over £7000 plus kitchen costs but again I was sold on reputation.

All I ask Is that, if Magnet see what Anthony Sanderson, scam sales rep of Magnet see that what he does is actually wrong, they will make a commitment to see how they can help me recover at least some of this money or we can take it to the police for fraud. Both to me that he did and really to Magnet if he really doesn't represent them or their values. If they do think Anthony Sanderson Is wrong. Or, and I fear they may pretend to do something but no follow through.

!! FIRST CLASS SERVICE !! Having just recently bought and had fitted the winchester grey kitchen I can tell you first hand about the service and quality of my kitchen, from start to finish one of the best things about Magnet was the service and communication, Becca at the Darlington branch advised on every aspect of our kitchen from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, Mo is an expert designer so credit to her for taking time to get the design right and actually being honest when some of the designs I had in mind simply wouldn’t work, My kitchen is beautiful and Magnet trade worked with an external fitter to ensure everything was delivered on time and the quality of finish from both the products and fitter is TOP CLASS !!! I would highly recommend Magnet as the best place to get a kitchen, yes they are not the cheapest but I didn’t pay for cheap I paid for a top quality, expertly designed and finished kitchen and that’s exactly what I got, Thanks Becca my kitchen is fabulous.

Have been using Magnets in Leatherhead for many years now. I have always found them very accommodating, great service, competitive prices, good quality products.
They have recently pulled out all the stops making sure a customer got the kitchen they wanted when another supplier at short notice let them down badly. I would always be happy to recommend them based on how they have helped me over the years. And I have numerous customers who are over the moon with their Magnet Kitchen!

Booked for the 24th January to collect 5 privacy lock as arranged and only to be told that they ran out of stock. What's the point of arranging a specific date and time? I had to cancel my builder appointment because of this.

Unreliable

I’ve been dealing with magnets @ Portsmouth for many years, their kitchens & joinery products are quality. Mandy, Wayne, Paul & Julia are very helpful with my customers when visiting the showroom with great customer service.
Great they now have a business card board for new potential customers.
Coffees good too.
