AVOID MAJ LAW AT ALL COSTS!!
Most reviews of MAJ are fake, as can be easily verified via their Google reviews.
Comical
Paid them £3500, and they didn't even turn up to court.
Wouldn't let me speak with my solicitor whenever I called.
I had to pay for a different solicitor, and MAJ won't refund the money they did nothing for.
I will remove this review if they reimburse me.

Maj law made this process very easy and handled everything with extreme professionalism, the team are great, very helpful and wud highly recommend,
Tom was very clear and helpful with his advises and knowledge.
Everything was dealt with speedily and efficiently from start to finish and on my day in court Ms Mei Kuan Yew was excellent in her guidance to enable a positive out come.

I would urge anyone considering using MAJ Law to proceed with caution. I will not go into full detail as I have an active legal case pending, but I can comment on my personal experience.
From the outset, the service felt inconsistent. I initially dealt with Connor Johnstone, then Harry Bellis, and later Osian Roberts.
The constant changes made the process feel disjointed and difficult to follow. The time of my first hearing was not confirmed, and across the matter I ended up with three different barristers, none of whom appeared fully briefed when arriving at court.
This caused significant concern and left me feeling unsupported at key stages.
Communication from the office was also poor. On one occasion I was asked by a staff member, Simon Booth, to pull over on the motorway to make a payment.
I was also told at one point that my file was fully paid, only to be contacted the day before a second trial requesting a further substantial sum. That hearing lasted around five minutes and was adjourned.
Due to the accumulation of issues, I felt I had no choice but to dismiss the firm from representing me. I requested a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, which was declined. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal channels.
MAJ Law have my contact details and I remain open to resolving the dispute directly. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the service.
Response to response: JW.
I have now received a review update from the firm which I strongly dispute.
My experience was that I was asked to pull over on the motorway and was repeatedly asked for payment despite what I believe was an error made by the firm.
I was initially told there would be two barristers instructed, and later told a third would be added for the next trial.
Based on my experience, I have submitted a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman regarding the handling of my case. I also note there are a number of recent 1 star reviews online. My review stands.
I would advise anyone leaving a review avoid certain words as they have grounds for removing the review.

MAJ were helpful and explained things clearly. They tried to keep costs down but it's still expensive. Ultimately they won my case which was the main point.

These guys saved me months of stress and worrying about my case with a 5 minute phone call. Genuinely appreciate the advice Tom. I’d definitely recommend these lot. Thanks again
Being my first time using this type of service, I was a little apprehensive.
After the initial phone call I decided to go with this particular law firm solely based on the nice experience I had with the representative.
I did feel after I paid for the services the experience was slightly lesser.
Communication was easy via email and via phone. Some important information I felt was brief, which would have aided me on the day of court and on the day my solicitor representative didn't have all the information to hand and arrived later than planned which of course being my first time made me quite nervous.
However the process was explained calmly which put me at ease before the hearing.
The outcome was successful but I felt there was some miscommunication, and I can't help but feel once the service had been sold to me the level of service provided dropped.
Once again, still got the outcome which was positive, the communication was present but as a first experience and paying a significant sum I'm not entirely confident the full value was there, however I don't have anything to compare it to

Initial consultation over the phone was very reassuring, l felt like the gentleman l spoke to l think his name was Connor, knew exactly what he was talking about. Ultimately got the result l wanted (no points) so l can't speak highly enough of this firm and their team.

Hands down the worst solicitors I’ve ever used in my life quick enough to take your money yet take months to reply or even look into your case. Would not recommend to anyone. Disgrace of a firm
Thank you to Jake for a thorough, succinct and understandable run through / overview of legislation and debunking legal jargon relevant to my particular query!
All my questions were answered in an understandable manner as part of this initial free advice consultation. This is very much appreciated.

Spoke with Jake on the phone about a speeding ticket i received and he was very understanding of the situation and incredibly helpful in explaining how best to go about my plea. Best free advice you’ll get anywhere 100% recommend
This is a disgusting company I'd just ask anybody to check twice before making a decision.
Tom was great, he took his time to hear what I had to say and then explained everything in detail.
Anyone in their right mind should think twice before hiring this firm.
I was accused of failing to provide a specimen in an alcohol related case. My first call with Tom was convincing and gave me confidence that my case could be thrown out. That was the only time I felt supported.
I pleaded not guilty due to a genuine medical reason, asthma backed by medical records. However, at my first hearing, I was told my case would be difficult because I had not attempted the breath test in custody. I was informed this could be used by the prosecution to argue there was no way to determine whether I would have failed. I had made this very clear from the very first call, before even agreeing to representation. At that point, it became obvious I was fighting a losing battle, heading toward a trial that would cost me thousands.
I had no choice but to change my plea to guilty. Despite paying a fixed fee of £4,995 plus VAT, I was later told by Rebecca that I would need to pay an additional £2,500 plus VAT for representation at the change of plea-sentencing hearing. That would have taken my total costs to nearly £10,000 just to plead GUILTY!
Communication was terrible. Calls were rarely returned, yet when payment was needed, the response was instant. At court, I was represented by different third party barristers who barely knew my case. I had to explain everything from scratch on each occasion.
The barrister on the day of my sentencing hearing seemed more concerned about her car parking timer running out than about my case. I was also asked to provide character references from professionals, family and friends. I gathered and submitted them, but they were never mentioned in court, despite me chasing this up beforehand.
Overall, a very expensive and disappointing experience. If you know you have little chance of winning, save your money and plead guilty from the start. I was never given a clear answer on my chances.
