Outstanding boxes and customer service!
I've been getting Makebox boxes since early 2020 (review written in late 2024) and I can honestly say they are brilliant. The projects are interesting, each month is different and the quality of the materials is outstanding. It's very easy to skip a month if you aren't interested in that month's craft, or if you are so interested in it that you happen to already own most of the materials anyway.
Moreover, their customer service has always been incredible. I've needed them a few times to substitute an upcoming box or to change my subscription and they have always responded on the same day and are always very nice and helpful. Thank you so much!

look fully into their subscription…
look fully into their subscription before you sign up.
They take your money at the beginning of the month but that payment is for the following months box. So if they take the money on 1st may you will not get a box until after 9th June.
the company says you can change your subscription item BUT you have to do this BEFORE they take payment. THE WHOLE PROCESS HAS BEEN STRESSFUL and ridiculous.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A SUBSCRIPTION.

I made changes to my order and this showed on my subscription page. At no time was I informed that this was wrong . I continued to believe that the swap I had made was ok (as it showed on my subscription page) until I was sent a different box.

Subscription terms:
Our subscription journey has not changed since we started. As all of our FAQs, email updates and terms of sale outline, the subscription renews on the 11th of each month. All edits have to be made before that, this is because an order is created when you pay for it on the 11th. Like all retail websites, the order is created and sent to the fulfilment centre once you pay. We do offer to try and help if a customer makes a mistake or wants to change their delivery if we are contacted.

4. We sent you a copy of your renewal email delivery log showing it was correctly delivered and read on the 8th of August. This would have outlined the box you were getting, the renewal date and when changes should have been made (in this case selecting the correct colour bag or swapping the box).

Really helpful customer service (I got my discount codes mixed up and they sorted that out for me very quickly). I absolutely love the products - the range and quality of everything I've ordered has been brilliant.

Beautiful craft boxes and excellent customer service
I ordered these boxes as a gift and they arrived in beautiful packaging. The recipient was delighted! I also was impressed with the customer service as my original order was delayed due to Royal Mail and they sent me out a new order so I could receive it in time to gift it.

Beautiful in every way
I have bought several boxes as gifts for people as well as for myself, and each and every one is beautifully made, has really clear instructions and is a joy to make. There is such a wide range of crafting available and you can buy one off boxes or subscribe. I can't recommend MakeBox & Co enough.
