It was not at all a good stay

It was not at all a good stay!
I'll give them 3 out of 10 because there was a cheaper price rate of rooms. But we were offered just double and they were taking bookings under 3k we have given 12000 for 2 rooms still we didn't got the room we asked for!
Pathetic stay ! I'll never recommend anyone to stay there!!
It was the fault of SKI hotel and MakeMyTrip app that they showed a huge price difference !!
I'll never ask anyone to book from MakeMyTrip app! Pathetic

Etihad Airways published to request…

Etihad Airways published to request refund for all bookings until 21 march and MakeMyTrip app doesn't have any option to change or cancel the flight. Agent needs to submit refund request with airline as per Etihad but MakeMyTrip is not allowing to claim refund nor reschedule.

No After Sale Support

MakeMyTrip will not help you if absolutely anything goes wrong. They will not try to work anything out to help you. They have no relationship with the airlines. They will charge you fees even if the airline cancels the flight and fully refunds the flights. So they benefit if the airline cancels your flight. It takes quite a while to get through to an agent and they will not help you. I have spent hours on the phone during this US, Israel, Iran War.

Make my trip is terrible, like the worst agency the customer is horrible,i have been trying to contact them 4days straight but i was not able to even talk to a single agent, no update about cancellation,no update regards anything ,its so frustrating for a travelers.Worst experience.This will be my last booking from your agency

Make My Trip gives worst experience

Thoroughly disappointed with your services. Booked deluxe room (AC) in Hotel Satsangi, Deoghar, Jharkhand from 02 to 05 March 2026 through your website for Rs. 5100.00. Was allotted Room 204 by the hotelier. The room was deplorable, no furniture beside 1 table, 1 plastic chair, and a double bed. The basin inside the bedroom was licking. No ventilation. There were rats inside the room. The room was not what I booked. The rent would be around Rs. 500.00 per diem. I have been cheated by you. Henceforth provide room number after accommodation is booked through your website.

I booked a ticket from makemytrip under…

I booked a ticket from makemytrip under booking ID NN2AH0YS74108870363 from London(Heathrow)-Kolkata, under PNR: 8G9GJM for 18th March, 2026 by Air India with a rider of date change and for which a premium of Rs 4403 was paid vide Tax invoice no M06AI26I11807882 dated 28th September, 2025 of Makemytrip.
Because of my sudden illness, I decided to advance my journey from 18th March, 2026, to 17th February, 2026. I approached makemytrip to change the date of my journey. They issued a ticket under the same PNR for 17th February, 2026. For that, they charged me Rs. 25,500( Rupees Twenty Five Thousand five Hundred) and issued a credit note of Rs 34948 vide credit note No.M06AI26C01019847 dated 14th February,2026. It means they charged me Rs. 60,448/- in total for that trip. I was told at the time of issue that the respective invoice will be issued by them after completion of the trip. I completed my trip on 18th February, 2026, but till now they have not issued an invoice for the said amount. I made a call several times over their contact no. +911245045105 then I was told that after 48 hours of completion of the trip invoice will be issued. I again made a call on 23rd February,2026 at 14.02 p.m (Raghunath was the attendant, on 25th February, 2026 at 2.35 pm ( Ankur was the attendant, on 28th February, 2026 at 12.28 pm (Nikhil was the attendant), on 28th February, 2026 at 2.42 pm (Subham was the attendant) and these all attendants told me that it will be issued and send to within 24 48 hours. Similarly, several emails were also given in this respect, addressed to several persons, including Shri Rajesh Magow, but sorry to state that till now no invoice has been issued. Now they are not taking my calls either. I request you to please ask them either provide me an invoice of Rs 60,448 (34,998+25500) or refund against credit note no M06AI26C01019847 dated 14th February, 20026 of Rs 34,948 and invoice of Rs 25,500 or vice versa.
Secondly, why are they not issuing an invoice though the ticket was booked on 14th Feb, 2026? It appears they are doing something which they should not. It describes that they have charged excessively for a date change, which they should not.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. It’s almost 4 days since i purchased one ticket cash was deducted and no ticket was issued. Still am trying to connect with customer service but not picking up call. Am making international call and losing lot of money by calling customer service. Very very worst customer support.

MakeMyTrip’s “Premium” Japan Visa Service is a Scam

I used MakeMyTrip’s “Premium” Japan visa service because they advertised E-Visa support, home pickup, and a dedicated agent. I paid more than double the normal price purely for convenience — and it turned out to be a terrible decision.

First, there is no E-Visa for Japan, yet this is part of their marketing. That’s completely misleading.

I applied on 12th February (almost 2 months before travel) and was told my documents would be reviewed within 48 hours. That “48 hours” turned into almost a month. Every time I called, I was told “this weekend” or “next 48 hours.” No action.

Then they claimed there’s a rule that agents cannot submit applications one month before travel — something that is mentioned nowhere on their website, the embassy website, or VFS.

Communication was horrible. Calls unanswered, no email replies, no WhatsApp responses. I had to repeatedly escalate through customer support just to get a basic update.

After nearly a month, they suddenly said rules had “changed” and asked for additional attested bank statements and stamped NOCs — something they could have informed me about on day one.

I lost trust and went directly to VFS as a walk-in. My documents were accepted without any issues, and I was done in 30 minutes.

Absolutely avoid MakeMyTrip’s Japan visa service. Paying extra for “premium convenience” gave me stress, delays, and misinformation instead.

Very poor support from their customer…

Very poor support from their customer care support. They will support you until you have not paid for the package or only when you would like to upgrade.
Once you are on the trip, they will promise to support but will not. THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL CALL BACK BUT NEVER DID. Their total business is running on luck, and with the help of local vendors.

Their package is expensive as compared to their competitors. I will suggest choosing someone else.

I had a very poor experience dealing with them when I was in Kerala trip.

Major Issue: They will book cheapest hotel room.Though hotel are good but what they don't have option to upgrade your room. They will book group flight ticket which will provide you separate seats from your family.

Misleading and unresponsive.

Booked return tickets to Danang from Hyderabad by Air Asia through MakeMyTrip. The booking process gave an option to add check in baggage for a fee, which I selected on all the sectors. But when the final tickets were issued, the baggage was not included. Thereafter, all efforts to contact customer care have been in vain. It's impossible to contact their customer care other than the automated one.

Worst travel arrangement

We booked a tripto Mount Abu for 7 people. The hotel, Hillock was fabulous but the transport was hopeless. They sent a tempo traveller van for our trip. The driver would stop quite far from most attractions & ask us to go by cab and his reason was that bigger vehicles were not allowed closer to the attraction. On the day we did some temple visits again he left us in one spot & we spent an additional 3000 rupees for the cab trips. The driver was constantly on the phone when driving (not hands free). He had no idea about the local attractions and was very reluctant to take us any where. If the bigger vehicle was not allowed in attractions we should have been given either 2 small vehicles or a suitable vehicle for 7.We are all senior citiens in our 60's & 70's & this was a total disappointment. But Hotel Hillock was amazing. The service & hospitality was top notch. I sent a message straight away to their transport coordinator and the reply I got was "Checking" & that was a week ago. Nothing after that. Hopeless

I booked 2 flight tickets from New…

I booked 2 flight tickets from New Delhi to abu dhabi and i purchased travel insurance too... I called MMT multiple times and spent couple of hours on phone .. First agent named Santosh promised me a call back within 4-5 hrs and its been more than 12 hrs now then I called mmt again and spoke with Santoshi she was so rude and transferred my call to the next person and my call disconnected then I got a call back from mmt spoke with Anushka she was so much rude and used such a worst that I feel insulted and disrespected by her and in the last she disconnect my call
I want to make a complaint against the mmt and specially the last agent I spoke with Named Anushka she is not a right fit for customer services.

Make My Trip is an absolute scam

I booked a driver from Chennai Airport to Pondicherry & was given a number to call an agent on arrival, to obtain driver details. This in itself was inconvenient as we don't have phone access overseas. I spoke to someone & explained that & was assured the driver details would be emailed to me the night before. This didn't happen & so I sent an email to the address given for car service support, but didn't receive a reply. We had to pay to turn 'roaming' on when we landed in Chennai. We tried the number I was given for the agent, but it didn't connect. We then tried every other number we could find. Despite them coming up as Make My Trip Gurgaon, none of them actually rung & the calls just ended. I had sent a number of what's app messages but once the booking had been made, I received no further responses. Just automated replies saying 'thanks for reaching out, hope this has solved your problem'. On returning to Australia , I tried to contact Make My Trip. I selected a variety of options on connecting to their 'help' phone number but every time the call ended. Finally I selected the 'purchase gift card option' & managed to speak to someone. She just tried to fob me off. First asking for screenshots of my attempts to call the agent & then refusing to give me an email address in order to send them. She wouldn't provide a phone number, just said they would contact me regarding my complaint. In the end I just told her I wanted the deposit I had paid refunding immediately or I would be asking my bank for a charge back. This would also incur a charge to the company. Basically, avoid this company at all costs!!
