Good service and fast

I wanted to rent a car on the website but i had a question about delivering a car on location.
The woman at the reception is very rude; she’s too lazy to communicate, or to reply on mails. She treats you with no respect, said she doesn’t speak English and threw up the phone before you could ask a question.
I asked around about Malco rent a car in Castellon and other people told me the same story, even the reception of a hotel who tried to make a reservation for one of their guest told us the woman from Malco rent a car is rude and absolutely not customer friendly.
If the company can’t treat their customers well, i don’t have trust in their products.
So, i will never rent a car from Malco rent a car Castellon

This is a friendly hire car company, with everything included in the price, insurance covers everything, no nasty extras so long as you bring the car back with a full tank of fuel.

I originally booked a Malco vehicle for a week's holiday in Valencia region in May 2022. The day before the booking I had to cancel as 2 of our party had covid. This was not a problem to Malco who even sent me a get well soon email!
We moved our holiday on to this month and we have just returned. The hiring experience was hassle free. As instructed we rang Malco on arrival at Valencia Airport and they were waiting with our vehicle outside the Arrivals Hall. At the end of the week's hire we called Malco 10 minutes before arriving at the Airport and met their representative in the same spot we picked up the car from.
As full insurance built into price there is absolutely no hard sell - and that is such a change from the aggressive selling tactics employed by most hire companies I have experienced.
I dealt with Gracia in the Malco Valencia office who was friendly and helpful at all times.

No dashboard screen for my phone & GPS! When I complained they said that I should have requested it during my purchase. I asked for a car with a screen and they said Id have to pay extra. Leasing such cars to visitors is not only a bad business decision, but also a compromise on safety as navigation is harder and stressful. It's my 3rd rental in Spain and they certainly won't be my 4th!

We rented our car with Malco for one week at the end of may.
I booked our rental with Gracia , she was friendly, Professional and very helpful, Malco delivered our car to us at the Airport and Collected it as well. We did not have to run around looking for desks or cars and most of all good value for money.
Fabulous work Malco, we will be renting our car from you next year 👍👍👍

This is the best car hire company that we have ever used. So easy efficient and friendly a thousand times better than the big companies. Can recommend them without hesitation. I appreciate that they didn’t try selling me add-on’s.

First time renting from MALCO. Have rented many cars when traveling in Europe. The Customer Service access even for someone with limited phone access or language skill, is superior to all others. Returns equally easy and the staff who facilitates the pick up and return are very pleasant and knowledgeable. Thank you MALCO.

Correct and smooth service. Pick-up and drop off very well arranged. Smart operating procedure. State of account of fuel and excess of kilometers were 100% according to contract. Recommended.

We had a terrible experience and I would warn any potential client to read this....

We booked the car in plenty of time and when we were ready at the airport we called the number as instructed.

I was told “We’ll be there in 5 minutes”.

So far so good…

20 minutes later we were still waiting so my wife called the number again and was told “OK, thank you for calling, we’re going to send someone now”.

OK - so what happened in the 20 minutes whilst we were waiting?

15 minutes later still no car (waiting 35 minutes now) so I call AGAIN and I'm told “Yes sir, someone is on the way now”.

I went off to use the bathroom and when I returned the car had just arrived - 50 minutes after the first call!!! 50 MINUTES WAITING!!!!

The driver apologised to my wife and said there was a problem with the wheel and this was the reason for the delay. (mmmmm).

When I ask him why he was so late he told me there was a police road block between the office and the airport (2.5km).

2 amazing reasons for the delay! Wow!

I said to my wife - "If this was the case why did not one think to phone us and explain? What happened in the first 20 minutes we were waiting"?

The answer is, it was not true. Proven by 2 reasons;

1) I looked at my Google Maps which showed no red road congestion in the area

2) The fact that when we went to complete the paperwork, the driver had the wrong contract. He phoned the office in a panic (because he had an unhappy customer ‘me’ on his case).
Amazingly the new contract arrived direct from the office to the airport in 3 minutes. Incredibly, the (untrue) Police road block had cleared in this short period of time!

Being blatantly lied to was a real insult and some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed.

On top of this, the car was with big milage for a hire car and stank of smoke… it was like driving an ashtray. We hated the car.

A never again experience from us… you have been warned!

No doubt the response from them and this review will be full of more false claims.

Used this company many times, prices are high,yet competitive (they are all high!) Always a friendly, personable and professional service. Helped us out when daughter missed plane and rearranged her car collection for a later date. Thoroughly recommend

I have rented several times from Malco. I find them responsive to questions and they are customer oriented. My rented cars were always in good running condition and always clean. I can recommend this company.

Good Rental Company
I rented from Malco at Valencia Airport for 2 weeks in October 2021. The car, a Citroen C3, was nearly new, very clean and in good condition. Their delivery and pick-up service was on time. I was very happy with the rental.

I very appreciated the services provided by "Malco rent a Car". The delivery of the vehicle, practically new, was made very quickly to the "express parking" area. After the rental the refund of the deposit was very fast. I give all my confidence.

I highly recommend Malco for car rentals in Spain. My husband and I ended up staying much longer than our intended visit due to Covid, and Malco made it so easy for us. The car was great, the price was right, and the service was excellent! They even picked the car up at the end so we didn’t have to drive back to Valencia. I highly recommend!
