Fraudent Smear Campaign
DJ Svenny, associated with Mama Thresl Radio, utilized Appy Pie's no-code app development platform to create a custom application. The service was duly availed through a confirmed transaction facilitated by PayPal under Billing Agreement ID B-4RU06571B5128544D. As per standard procedure, the corresponding charges were successfully processed against this agreement.
Subsequently, DJ Svenny initiated a dispute through PayPal, falsely alleging that he did not authorize or create the application. Upon careful review and presentation of evidence confirming the creation and usage of the app via his account, PayPal ruled in favor of Appy Pie, validating the legitimacy of the transaction and rejecting DJ Svenny’s claims.
Following the failed dispute, DJ Svenny has engaged in a malicious smear campaign targeting Appy Pie. This campaign, which includes the dissemination of false and defamatory statements against our company, appears to be an act of retaliation after the legitimate dispute process did not conclude in his favor.
Appy Pie takes its reputation and customer trust very seriously. We are currently in the process of initiating legal proceedings against DJ Svenny for slander and defamation under the applicable laws of India. These proceedings will be filed in the courts of New Delhi, as per the terms and conditions of our platform, which DJ Svenny accepted during his use of our services. The governing law and jurisdiction clause clearly establishes New Delhi as the agreed legal venue for dispute resolution.
