Disappointing Experience - Received Used/Opened Product
I ordered a Swift sprocket from Mammothbikes.com expecting a new product. However, when it arrived, the packaging had already been opened and the multi-tool that should have been included was missing. This clearly indicates I received a returned/used item rather than a new one.
When I contacted customer service to explain the situation and provided photos, they were dismissive and unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't see what I was referring to in the photos and stated that tools need to be purchased separately - even though the multi-tool is supposed to be included with this product according to the manufacturer.
After multiple emails trying to explain the issue, they continued to give dismissive responses without addressing my actual concern: that I paid for a new product but received one that had clearly been opened and returned by a previous customer.
I would caution other customers to carefully inspect their orders upon arrival. It's unacceptable to sell used/returned items as new, and the customer service response was equally disappointing.
I cannot recommend this company based on this experience

I had a very frustrating experience where the company's internal system was unable to handle a minor order modification (removing one accessory) and instead unilaterally cancelled the entire order (a high-value seatpost) that hadn't even shipped.
This demonstrated a poor operational process, as a simple change resulted in the cancellation of an item I still wanted.
However, after raising the issue with customer service, I am pleased to confirm that they honored their responsibility and processed a full reimbursement for the cancelled order.
While the initial process caused extreme frustration and unnecessary time/effort, I appreciate that the team corrected the error and fully resolved the issue.

I purchased a bicycle from Switzerland that never arrived. They are washing their hands of the matter, saying that I should now contact the shipping company, which has no contact details or email address and is based in Spain. It has been a month and I am still waiting for my bicycle! This is unacceptable. I would like someone to do something about this.

I have bought new gravel there, price of bike was great but shipment cost was a little bit high. The rest is very good, no problem with bike condition, it was sent to Poland, arrived after one week.
I placed an order with Mammoth Bikes on July 24, 2024 for a bike I intended to use on a week-long cycling trip in the Alps. The order confirmation stated an estimated delivery of August 4, 2025. To this day, more than 30 days later, the bike has not arrived.
This failure not only ruined my planned cycling trip, but the customer service experience has been equally disappointing. On August 12, 2025, Mike (Head of Customer Care) told me the bike was “in customs awaiting clearance” and advised me to wait a week. I have done so patiently, yet despite repeated requests, I have received no further updates.
This is not how a trusted business should operate—taking payment, failing to deliver, and showing no accountability. I cannot recommend this shop at all.
I had to wait one month for the delivery of my Specialized Mountainbike. I have been waiting for three weeks for the refund of the EU VAT. Since submitting the export certificate, I haven’t heard anything back from them.

Got a bike in my basket for days waiting for a answer from the costumer support, when I got the answer and finally paid for it they canceled the order without any prompt explanation, after contacting again the very slow customer support i was told it was out of stock ( i wonder if they’ll ever contact me if I didn’t asked) now 11 days after i paid i’m still waiting for my refund….
I was buying a bicycle for my holidays and that is not going to happen because they sold something they didn’t have and now are keeping my money for a week and I can’t go buy the bicycle somewhere else!

Ordered a bike on 28 July with delivery promised between 7–15 August. First I was told it would arrive last week, now they say this week and now they won't even reply to my e-mails anymore. Terrible communication. Paid over 1,000€ (even with a 300€ discount) and the service is unacceptable.
If you order here, use PayPal for buyer protection. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

Update 14.08.: Your customer service should start replying to emails as quickly as you respond to negative reviews.
The problem is that the delivery time was advertised as the 7th of August. Then, when you actually buy the bike, it says between the 7th and 15th of August. Now, I don’t have a delivery date at all.
In your email reply, you wrote (directly quoted, only translated into English): "Hello, we sincerely apologize for this delay and will ship the bicycle to you as soon as possible this week."
Absolutly no mention of delayed delivery due to "this time of year".
I need a concrete delivery date, as we will be on vacation soon and no one will be able to receive it if the delay is any longer.

Bike was a great price, dispatched quickly then notified of a delay however the bike then arrived two days before estimated delivery date, assembled bike charged batteries just need to purchase new tyres as one of the continentals on the bike has a manufacturing fault.

While the prices offered seem good, the customer service is unfortunately not very helpful and bikes for which you have to pay a large amount up front are not sent out, without concrete information on when and if the bike will be sent to you.
I ordered my bike on 27 July, happy that the delivery will be done between 31 July and 5 August. Unfortunately, after countless mails to their customer service, I still do not have a tracking number for my order, meaning it has not been sent out. That even though I was told that the bike SHOULD have been sent on 30 July, and then again on 5 August. It is very disappointing that they do not hold their promises and then do not even provide you with transparent answers on when your bike WILL arrive/be sent out.
When switching the language on their website to Spanish you can schedule a call - however, I was not even called at the scheduled time. Trying my luck again on Friday to cancel the order in case there is no more update on my order today.

Extreme Delivery Delays on Mountain Bike:
Original promise: 5-7 days (ordered July 17, estimated delivery July 23-25)
Customer care later said it would ship August 4
As of August 6, I've been waiting 20 days and the bike still hasn't shipped
Completely Unresponsive Customer Service: Customer care is extremely difficult to reach and provides few, fragmented, and cryptic responses. I've sent several messages through both their website and email. Some respond with days of delay, others receive no response at all.
No Clear Cancellation Process: There's no straightforward way to cancel an order, effectively trapping customers with their poor service.
Address Change Problems: Due to their delays, I needed to change the delivery address. Customer care initially said this was possible, but they continue confirming the old, incorrect address despite me providing the correct one multiple times.
VAT Invoice Issues: Very difficult to obtain a proper VAT invoice. They refused to cancel my previous order and issue a new invoice with correct VAT details.
After 20 days of waiting with broken promises, zero communication, and no way to cancel, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this company.

The store refused to accept the return, even though it was submitted within the final return deadline in the seller's system. Despite email correspondence and an error message on the store's side, the store refused to accept the return. Be very careful and count the return days, regardless of what's written in the Mammoth Bikes system. I consider this a form of blocked returns.
