This is my go-to store for cheap preowned figurines. Orders get shipped fast, they are perfectly well packaged.
Some people get confused with different stores, yes not all the stuff comes from one place so check before ordering for less shipping.

Shop in general is pretty great. Takes a bit to get acclimated to the site itself but once you do you'll realize it's very well laid out, and easy to navigate. Site has multiple languages that are translated fluently, and customer service respons quickly and provides a lot of information for any questions you may have.
It is a secondhand hobby store so keep that in mind if you want an item that's labeled under "store front item," which means they have to check their inventory. They send invoices for you to pay through though, so they don't charge you before guaranteeing they have the item.
DHL was used in my case and my item somehow managed to arrive in a day and a half from freakin' Nakano, which is pretty impressive. Got a rare vintage model kit, and the item was very securely packaged and was in even better condition than the product description had described.

So far all my purchases are very smooth direct Mandarake Online Shop, just need to wait a bit for checking stock if buy "in-front store" unit, and about shipping Dang Fast !!! just take about 2-3 days using DHL Express,

I bought from Grandchaos on Mandarake and got a nendoroid doll, they sent the payment link overnight and shipped it the next day they opened. Price was right around her retail which was amazing! Shipping was very fast as well. Will for sure be buying from Mandarake again, thank you!

I ordered many many items from Mandarake and all of them were positive experiences. They are usually quick to respond to a question and are really trying to be as helpful as possible. Also you can find pretty much anything anime, games, music, books related and even though most items are second-hand, the condition is almost the same as if it was a new product.

I recently ordered a preowned figure from Mandrake and it was an excellent experience. My figure was sent out quickly and was very well wrapped. Good prices on everything but shipping understandably. Will definitely order from here from here.

They literally marked up on old magazines that worth nothing. They actually one of the most profitable companies in Japan because of selling Manga, figure and many more. I compared the price of the books that I wanted on their ebay list and yahoo japan. They are not supposed to charge each books with extra shipping cost. Actually they charge each book with extra shipping just to "pretend" they are third party purchasing company, in fact they really are not that type of company at all! They put high cost on each customers. Anyways, I chose a third party company locates in Japan and they ordered 6 books for me, all together only cost me $300. On madarake ebay list I can only purchase 3 books with this amount of money.
I did not choose to buy from mandarake because I found they put every shipping amount on every single one of the books or magazines they sell. No wonder why each book costs almost $40 or even more. That's not fair to the consumer outside of Japan. It's extremely dangerous to order from such company. Despite the fact they have already became successfully in their own country.

If you have time just search on Mandarake's own website in Japanese, you will find their price in Japan is very reasonable. I don't understand why they put high price on ebay, but it is just not fair to people outside of japan. Luckily I'm not into buying manga figures. just search on yahoo japan or mercari, and find a third party purchasing website. You will get your item at more reasonable price.
Anyway, I will never purchase stuff from Japan, at least for another five years.

Mandarake is a great place to get collectibles at a reasonable price. I've made plenty of orders through them and I haven't had any issues with the items I’ve bought. Everything has come in as described or better. The only minor issue I've had with them was when I asked a question about an item and the store never replied to me. A few days later the item got sold to someone else. :( Because of this, I haven't utilized their customer service for questions I might have about the items I’m interested in buying. Otherwise my experiences have all been very good.

Make sure you know what you want and have extra money at hand because express shipping is expensive and they will block you if you don't pay/try to cancel.

I have ordered from Sahra and Nakano. Products condition were much better than desrcibtion made me think. I got what I ordered in about one week. They ship very fast. I've never messaged them about orders becuase I haven't have any issues so far.

Shipped very quickly and products were better than described. Shipping price not too bad either

I bought from mandarake, and I received my stuff quick and packaged well. Their second hand mostly can pass as new. the most deteriorated I have received is a small yellow spot on one book but that's it. if I didn't look for the yellow spot, I would have missed it.
The only caveat is that Mandarake has lots of branches so make sure you buy your stuff from one branch so that shipping won't pound you,

I have ordered 3 times from Mandarake, and I adore this service. I’ve only ordered figma figures and the shipping cost is very reasonable (around 1000yen) which is so good for how quickly they arrive, which is plus or minus 4 days. I imagine that purchasing anything larger would up the prices, I have never found cheaper prices on rare action figures and i will continue to use this service.

The perfect site if you are looking for good deals and rare items! Looking through Mandarake feels like looking at a treasure chest to me. I use it to find sold out or rare items for good prices, and I usually manage to find them for half the price or less than I would on Ebay or at a local shop. For example, I managed to find a figure that would cost me 40€ to buy locally, for only 7€ on Mandarake! New and sealed in plastic. The only downside to Mandarake is that the shipping isn't calculated immediately when you place an order. Instead you have to choose the delivery method and then wait for them to Email you the shipping quote, then you can pay. I think it's very inconvient because the shipping costs can become very expensive very quickly.

ordered at the end of January and despite Corona, I received my package today. Everything was packaged cautiously, pricing was perfect and since I knew about the shipping costs, it was totally worth it! Would do again 5/5

I love Mandarake! It's like shopping in Japan but everything's right in front of you, it's great and I love shopping here. Fast shipping and every item I've received, ordered over a hundred action figures, they're all wrapped with care. However, be wary of the $30USD and $45USD shipping charges. You won't know until you get a confirmation of the sum once the store you ordered from confirms that they have the item in stock. For example, I decided to buy an action figure and it's an absolute steal. All of the sudden, I'm hit with a ton of bricks and surprises me with $45USD shipping, unbelievable! Be cautious and certainly be careful! Cancelling too much will result in a permanent ban of your account and shipping address.

mandarake is a really good website to put rarer or common preowned items.. going from figures,shirts,bags or anything really! I have ordered from 3 different stores as of lately sapporo ( being my first I brought from..), fukouka (they responded incredibly fast messaged me for my invoice as soon as I brought, and shipped on on the same day.) nakano being the most recent (personally the slowest so FAR) they will respond to questions sometimes generally very quickly sometimes they will take a day or few, SAHRA has an automated shipping cost calculated (quite expensive so I haven’t personally brought from that facility.) their customers service is ok! I asked about shipping on a certain item and comparing prices from different facilitys and got a narky respond which is whatever but that has probably only been the not so bad thing.. my items have gotten to my country within 5 days of ordering which is really fast^ though DHL makes shipping a little bit expensive.. in my opinion but I don’t mind paying a little more to get a grip on rarer items for my personal collection:^)).. overall they are a great company! I do suggest mandrake. (dont forget to pay within 5 days... or you will suffer the ban hammer though ! ) bye bye!

I love this place. Both for online and in store shopping - they have an amazing selection and the quality has always been outstanding, even when listed as damaged.

They take amazing care to pack your goods as well. The boxes are thick and sturdy and inside is plenty of bubble wrap. They do a great job.

I would like there to be more information on some products. I don't know if it is better in the original Japanese but certainly for the English it is lacking. I have occasionally ordered things without having much clue what I am getting. Just a minor niggle though.

The only real downside are the shipping fees. You have to be very careful as the cost of shipping comes in hard; you'll have no clue exactly what your total will be until after you commit. For example, my 35,000¥ order is now costing 45,000¥ - another 10k for shipping alone (not to mention the import fee... ahh!!). That is easily the cost of a second figure!

The upside is you know you're getting a real figure. Other online places can be incredibly hit and miss. I would rather pay the shipping fee and be rest assured I havent just been conned.

All in all, ever since I found out about them I regularly used them. That's been about three or four years now. I would love for there to be an option to trade in goods for us English speakers but I also appreciate it is a bit of a stretch!

Couldn’t pay for an order because of absurdly high shipping cost and now I think I’ve been suspended. I can’t login to my account and when I try to make a new one I get an error. Contacted support but no response. It’s a shame because I’ve completed several other orders with them and now they’re just giving me the cold shoulder over one order. Make sure you can completely commit to your order otherwise they WILL ban you.

Really can't fault Mandarake - they have awesome prices on rare products, they ship super-fast and communications aren't a problem. I've had tow transactions with them and there's not been any problems at all. Highly recommended.
