2nd MOT success

Had my 2nd car MOT done there today.
So I had a text reminder 3 weeks before due.
Area for customers to sit and wait very nicely done out. Offered a drink.
MOT done on time.
All staff very pleasant.
Receptionist very friendly and helpful.
Car passed MOT - one advisory.
As a female customer this is a place I feel comfortable in and will certainly continue using them.

Habit of poor customer service

This company must make it a habit of providing shockingly poor customer service, my girlfriend booked in a car for an interim service, specifically saying its had a full service done last year when we purchased the car so it only needed an interim.

They then proceed do a full service and expect her to pay for it. Luckily I had gone with her to pick up the car, otherwise they could have quite easily taken advantage of a lady going into this kind of situation...
But apparently we received a text telling us that it was a full service that was booked in (it says nothing like that on the text we received)

On top of all this, they got rid of a brand new bulb, saying it had blown and that Halfords bulbs are usually bad and instead of leaving it in the car for this to be returned to the shop where it was purchased, they threw it away.

Then he has the cheek of telling me how he has thrown in lots of free oil filters etc (when all of this is part of the service costs) and how that £60 would have his kids go without clothes/meals etc now to school, (what, but its ok for my kids to be going without that stuff when you rip me off).

As well as that I shouldn't come back (obviously because I had caused him too much aggravation - in his view.

I should have learnt my lesson and advised her not to bother having any work there when I once wanted to get a quote for some work doing, they ordered a part without even giving me a price for it and then expected me to have the work done there even though they weren't competitive, just because they had ordered it before they even quoted me for it. Who in their right mind does this? Ok Mr customer, make sure you get your work done with us but we wont tell you the price. Seriously people, don't use this place, go to another garage and save yourself the headache...
