Poor workmanship, including non compliance with building regs

I feel very unhappy with the quality of workmanship I’ve received. Lots of issues. RICS surveyor identified defects, deviation from plans and building regulation contraventions. Unfortunately majority disputed by builder. Remedial work now being undertaken by 3rd parties some 4 months later as we work to achieve a refund as per terms of contract. Builder are an FMB member, FMB mediation could not resolve, in my opinion they are not working to protect or represent the consumer from substandard work.
