I would highly recommend March driving…

I would highly recommend March driving school in Aarhus if you’re an international. It Was very comfortable to learn both theory and practical. The instructor has guided me in the best way to get my licence. Thank-you to Mr. Frank. All credit goes to him for his endless efforts. 🙏🙏🙏

Actual rating not representing reality

I would like to say that for sure the rating it has now (2.8 stars) it is far from reality.I had a special situation and I took MC driving license with Frank,my special situation is that I speak English and the other thing is that I work outside Denmark without any planning( i can get a phone call today and tomorrow I am outside the country without knowing when I am going to be back). Even with this problem I manage to get my driving license , I do not know how many schools offers this flexibility in driving lessons and lessons plan.Otherwise Frank knows for sure his job , beside that I had already a driving license I had to work and to put the interest in to pass the practical and theoretical exams. For me it worked well and I recommend it !

The worst driving school

I would not recommend this driving school to anyone. I originally chose March Driving School because they offered lessons in English, and despite not living in Aarhus, I thought it would be a good option. Unfortunately, the entire experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

I had driving lessons with Erik and occasional interactions with Frank. Frank is extremely disorganized and unreliable — even getting the simplest tasks done could take him over a week. Erik, on the other hand, was an absolutely terrible instructor. During lessons, he a couple of times hit my lap while I was driving and often spoke in a disrespectful manner. I even witnessed another student leave the manoeuvre track early, saying, “Nobody can talk to me in that way,” in response to Erik’s behavior.

It is also incredibly chaotic and difficult to schedule driving lessons. They are not flexible at all, and just getting a response from them can take a very long time. It feels like students are left to figure everything out on their own.

The school charges a lot of money, but puts in zero effort to support or guide students properly. After I failed my driving test, Erik stood there laughing and asked when I wanted my next lesson — as if it was all a joke.

I ended up switching to another driving school, and it was the best decision I made. Stay away from March Driving School — it is simply not worth the stress or money.

Driving with Frank

Frank helped me a lot. I took my sessions with him and after work when it was dark and rush hour I drove and in my exam everything was easier. He is calm and made me chill while driving.

Subject

Subject: My Disturbing Experience at March Køreskole
Hello everyone,
I feel compelled to share my unsettling experience with March Køreskole. During my lessons, my instructor repeatedly touched me inappropriately—on my thighs, knees, neck, cheeks, and even my hair. Each time, I went into fight-or-flight mode, making it impossible for me to concentrate on driving. As someone who already deals with anxiety, I initially questioned my feelings, wondering if I was overreacting or if someone of his age could really behave this way. However, his inappropriate actions only escalated, leaving me feeling deeply disturbed.
As a non-confrontational and sensitive person, this situation was traumatic, and I’m not alone—other female students have reported similar experiences, as shown in reviews on Trustpilot. If you’re considering driving lessons, please be cautious and consider other options. Let’s protect each other by spreading the word and ensuring our safety comes first.
When I finally mustered the courage to report this to the owner, I was taken aback by his response. He acknowledged that he had been aware of this behavior and had attempted to intervene, which made it clear that this issue has persisted for a while and that there is a lack of genuine concern from the school to address it.
I strongly urge you to avoid this school. No one should have to endure such experiences.

Not recommended, especially not for women

I don't recommend March køreskole, especially not for women! Maybe I'm wrong but I got the impression that Frank considers women to be bad drivers, in general. He stated that on several occasions. And I believe that he meant it.

Driving with Frank felt like a never-ending story. Always just the next class, paying a lot of money on extra classes... Of course, I could accept the fact that I need some more practice, also that it's very difficult to get a driving test appointment. But he just kept saying (when I asked) that I'm not ready for the test, and he can't tell, when will I be ready, or how many more classes I need approximately. It was very demotivating to spend a fortune on the driving school, without seeing the end.

I always started driving in a good mood. But at the end of the class, my mood and self-confidence was completely destroyed, and I was stressed of driving. I was close to give up the driving school...

Luckily, I didn't give up, but found another teacher/driving school. And it was also thanks to Frank that I recognized, the problem wasn't only with me. :) Last time, when I finished driving with Frank, he was pointing on a car, and asked me, if I know, why couldn't the driver park properly. I didn't know... Then he said: "Because it was a WOMAN!!" (He also made this kind of sexist comments earlier, but then I didn't take it seriously. For example, on the first theory class, he stated that women will need more extra classes than men.)
So after this happened, I realized, if he thinks that women are bad drivers, then he will never say that I'm ready for the driving test.

Luckily, I found a very good new driving teacher after. It was a completely different experience. I enjoyed driving, it was fun, improved very fast in things I had to, and passed the driving test after few extra classes with the new teacher.
Even though it didn't annoy me so much that Frank was very often on his phone talking during the classes, texting, or checking things on his laptop - I realized later that it matters a lot. This way, the driving classes were not effective, and much more extra classes were necessary to learn driving. In contrast, my second teacher was never on the phone, and he was very encouraging.

I'm happy that I found another, excellent teacher. Because I don't think, I could have become a confident driver, if I stayed at Frank.

Learning to drive should be fun, and self-confidence is very important. Therefore, I suggest everyone to learn driving with a teacher, who is encouraging, patient and gives clear feedback and explanations.
My advice is: If you don't get the proper service for your money, don't be afraid to change! :)

Honest review - March Køreskolen

Great. Here’s my honest review.

So, Frank was teaching me in Danish both theory and driving.
I’m very proud to be one of his students.

I passed both tests at the first try and it was because of him, but also because I payed attention to what he told us.

When I met him,I told him I wanted to finish the whole “school thing” as quick as possible, because I had some exams coming up and he helped me with that. So it kinda depends on how determined you are to get through this, because it isn’t easy.
I was so scared to drive, but that was before I met Frank.

He’s a great teacher. He jokes about everything, and I’m being serious :))
He’s funny and I loved driving with him.

March Køreskolen’s a great driving school.
I’ve met some other teachers that are working with Frank and they’re all great.
Everything they do is to help their short-time students.
I will never regret choosing this school. So I recommend this school 100%.😊

Look for another school

You getting your driver's licence as soon as possible is not in their interest. It seemed that intimidation is the tactics they use to make one feel nervous behind the wheel, so that one has to pay for a lot more lessons.

Great learning experience:-)

I have very good experience with Frank. Both theory and practical instructions were good. He is calling/emailing sometimes but never ignored the mistakes I made during driving (Tough sometimes I wish he did not notice :-). If something technically is unclear, I just ask and usually get a clear explanation. He is a serious teacher so I often felt a bit pressure on me but that speeds up the learning process. I am not a particularly fast learner on driving…but he showed also great patience. I fully appreciate the learning experience and can well recommend this driving school.

Thank you for your help Frank! :)

Whereas I took my theory lessons in English elsewhere, Frank was my actual driving instructor during the driving lessons.

Although it has taken me quite a while to get there eventually, Frank has been incredibly patient when it comes to my nerves, quick and attentive to point out my mistakes and we always had a good time chatting as well, which helped me to relax.

Yes, he is a busy man (referring to the below review), but I always felt he made sure to focus and teach me and he takes his job seriously.

I passed both my theory and driving tests on the first go :) thank you for everything Frank!
