Mare Azur in Miami - very shady

I booked a room at Mare Azur in Miami, the rate was advertised at $139 for my one night stay. I carefully read all of the information related to the property and besides taxes, no other fees were disclosed. I completed my reservation for a one night stay, throughout the reservation process, no additional fees were disclosed. After the non-refundable reservation was complete, I received a receipt by email that showed my credit card was charged $315.26. The receipt listed an additional $140 “mandatory fee” which was in addition to $36.26 for taxes and some kind of service fee. The $140 fee represents a 100% increase over the $139 advertised rate. I would not have booked this room if this fee and/or a total cost of $315 was disclosed in advance. It is deceptive and fraudulent not to disclose a $140 “mandatory fee”. It is also unbelievable that Mare Azur would have an additional fee that exceeds the nightly rate for the room.
Mare Azur was contacted before I checked in, they refused to refund the $140. If I cancelled, I'd lose the entire $315.

This is a very shady establishment, stay far away. There are hundreds of other options in the Miami area.
