This company reminds me of…

This company reminds me of ‘constructive dismissal’ practices - our chimney stacks pointing is disintegrating badly. Having provided them with the photographic evidence they dispatched a surveyor who confirmed the mortar was failing (incorrect mix of sand/cement or too dry when applied). Firstly they advise the £1000 excess was index link so was now £1400. Secondly they required a Chartered Surveyors written report at my cost for them to ‘understand’ the specific cause of the ‘fault’. However they stressed they were not obliged to re-imburse me this cost (£1200 cheapest quote) whether they rejected my claim or not. So if they accept my claim I’m paying the first £2800 or paying £1200 if they don’t! Seriously dissapointed that Berkeley Homes use this company for their NBC Warranty’s.

Ghosting all over the house in a 6 year…

Ghosting all over the house in a 6 year old new build is not enough damage for them, they are only looking at major structural damages despite of LABC warranty. They do everything to make sure you have no case and they don't have to help you.
