Poor customer service and rip off for lunch and beverages

A company who needs better customer service.
Our first day of the tour with a man named Omar was great. He was engaging and informative.
What we don’t know was lunch (that you purchase yourself) is a set menu and expensive for what it is.
Then ride on the camels on sunset is nice.
We arrived at camp, which we liked. Pretty set up. The shower walls were quite dirty.
We purchased a bottle of wine for 300 MAD st camp and it was off. Revolting. All the guests were complaining. The staff just shrugged.
They didn’t care. That’s a lot of money for wine to not even be able to drink it. Seems like a scam.
On day 2 our driver failed to pick us up. Omar waited with us and they were a no show. He arranged another driver for us, who met up with us but the second driver was very unhappy and was yelling at Omar. We were really embarrassed.
The driver also did not drop us off where we were promised. He made us walk an extra 350 metres with our heavy suitcases because he was hungry (sunset was closing in, it was Ramadan).
He said it was 30 metres only. It was not.
His driving was aggressive in the end.
He did not have time to drop everyone off properly yet had time to stop for 2 personal things (dropping off food).
He did not wear his seatbelt but yelled at people on the bus for not having theirs.
I emailed the company with my concerns, no reply and no clarification on why our driver was a no show.
I think this tour would be excellent but not with this company unless you were guaranteed to have Omar for the 2 days and don’t but their wine and pack snacks of you don’t want a set menu lunch.

WARNING: Advertised 7-Hour Tour Became a 12-Hour High-Pressure Sales Trap

WARNING: Advertised 7-Hour Tour Became a 12-Hour High-Pressure Sales Trap
I strongly advise against booking this tour. It was advertised as 7-8 hours but ran for over 12 hours, returning at 8:15 PM. This massive delay was caused by numerous mandatory, unscheduled stops designed solely for sales, not sightseeing.
The itinerary was hijacked by lengthy, high-pressure pitches at a pottery house, a carpet shop, and an Argan oil co-op. Staff at the co-op applied oils to customers without consent, ignoring allergy risks, and products were sold at exorbitant prices.
Due to the time wasted, lunch was delayed until 2:30 PM, taking two hours. The actual waterfall hike was then disappointing: the guide repeatedly stalled at stalls to encourage buying, the environment was polluted, and we faced constant harassment from beggars.
When I voiced my frustration about the 5-hour delay, the driver/guide rudely dismissed it, saying I "wanted cheap so [I] got cheap," and then complained about me to other passengers. This tour is misleading, unprofessional, and prioritizes forced shopping over the advertised cultural experience. Avoid.

We had a fascinating trip from Marrakech to Fes

We absolutely loved our driver/guide Abdel. He is funny, personable, kind, patient, intelligent, and professional. As a guide, he took very good care of us over the three days of our trip to the desert (Marrakech-Merzouga-Fes). He stopped numerous times at my request so I could take photos. Abdel was always there for us, looking after us and anticipating potential problems. He handled everything with grace and took care of us. It is hard to think of our trip with any other guide and we offer our highest recommendation to this wonderful man. There are very few people on earth who can drive me three days through the mountains and desert, and I arrive at the other end happy and in one piece !

Mohamed at head office was very helpful and kind. We had a miscommunication about our booking, and Mohammed was able to fix it within 30 minutes, and at 8:00pm. The true sign of a good company is their ability to quickly resolve an issue. We are grateful to Mohamed for making himself available to help us.

The three day trip itself was an adventure was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. Initially apprehensive about the amount of time in the car, it turned out to be an excellent way to see a large part of the interior of Morocco, as well as all the major sights. If you have a good guide, as we did with Abdel, you get to see many of the small aspects of the country that leave you feeling like you had an intimate look at life in this fabulous place. We enjoyed the various stops, but especially Ait Ben Haddou, and the camel ride and overnight out in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The desert camp was well organized and the tents had everything you would need. We didn’t particularly like the local guide at the Toudra Gorge, though. He was pushy and took us to a rug shop that we didn’t really want to see. That took too much time and we weren’t interested. Otherwise, everything else went smoothly and we received everything promised and more. We definitely recommend spending the extra money to have your own private car and driver/guide instead of the group trip. Having your own car allows you to make extra stops, and spend more time at places of interest.
