Ordered fish 21 days ago and have only gotten a "your order has been delayed " email...really.... I appreciate we're in a situation but then you shouldn't be operating if it takes 3 weeks+ to get 3 fish...your clearly getting yourselves a bad reputation at the moment..

Another great buying experience from an efficient company with friendly staff. I have purchased from them a couple of times and found everything to my satisfaction. Healthy inexpensive marine fish delivered to my door! In these strange times what else could you want?

Customer service is diabolical... I spent £750- with this company only to open the box and find two MARINE FISH dead in there bags and one die two days later!! I do understand that fish do die in transit but after following there guidelines on website and informing them immediately with photos of fish in bags and in the box dead attached to email after email and phone calls after phone calls it’s now been weeks and thank you masterfisch I’ve heard nothing!!
Neither myself or any member of my family will never order from you guys again!! I am absolutely outraged at the customer care I’ve NOT received,
Believe me this review is polite compared to the review I’d like to write!!
Trust me DO NOT purchase anything from this company, as when this go wrong you’ll be on your own........

Stay away, don’t get blind about their products on the webpage - worst customer service ever
If I could give minus stars I would - STAY AWAY THE DONT GIVE a ....
First order was in December, I ordered in the start of the month and didn’t hear anything for 14 days then I decided to ask about the process then they gave me a lame excuse about Christmas time and delays. All this should have been noticed from the start when I ordered but it said loud and clear 1 to 2 days delivery time. Finally they refunded all the money but I lost €20 because of the currency difference.
I decided to give them one more chance and ordered for €300. That was a preparation time of one week but then the shipment arrive fast. When I opened the package the carpet anemone was in very bad condition,
I Informed them instantly about the condition, I really couldn’t see what was up and down on it so loose an open was its mouth. So I decided acclimatized it for two hours drip and and introduced it in my display tank, but it was too late it had already started falling apart, so I removed it. I took only one foto under the blue light where it clearly was missing 25% of it. They were very slow to get back to me replying to my email that because of the coved crisis they were handling a lot of returns. I have now emailed them 20 emails with no response. I think it’s more fun to receive money then giving them back which is and should be at customer service. Fish delivery
Hi Just to advise i order various fish they all arrived alive and perfect order. I found that the box they were delivered in was very good. Fish were individually bagged, had an instance with a previous company that all the fish were in one bag and this was a contribution to the fish being dead on arrival. I id see negative reviews below but can only base this on my experience which was excellent. Thanks Masterfisch.

Excellent for new customers - however 2nd purchase is a different experience
First order was shipped straight away - maybe this was because I was a first time customer. No fish DOA however 5 tetras died within the same day.
I ordered more fish 7 days ago. Payment was received - however nothing heard since. I have emailed 3 times, rung 4 times and left an answer phone message.
All I want is an indication on when I am likely to receive the fish.
Update - 13 days after ordering, I have sent 9 emails, 15 phone calls. I had an automated message saying there was a “delay” at their acclimatisation centre (which is in France). I have not had a proper response from anyone at the company - I have asked for someone to speak to me or give me any indication. If you have to pay £30+ for delivery and they advertise on their website that they are delivering in the UK as normal, then they should be able to process orders.

Not UK, not happy!
Masterfisch UK is a bit of a fraud. Whilst they have a registered address in the UK I followed my delivery online via the courier website. The fish/shrimps travelled from France, to Germany and then onto the UK. When delivered by UPS the package was on its side and it’s no real wonder the livestock were stressed. One dead on arrival and another shortly thereafter.
It took ages for Masterfisch to prepare this order in the first place, fobbing me off when I enquired as to it’s whereabouts, then a week later informing me it was delayed (surprise surprise). They were fine about arranging refund for deaths, but when the delivery cost is so high it really doesn’t help that much.

first order and happy customer
I received my first order by MasterFisch last week. For me everything went fine, I was actually expecting a bit of delay in delivery due to current situation but the order was delivered on time and I received in less than 24 hours from shipping time. My order was 2 clown fish, 1 fire fish and few snails. The temperature was slightly low when it arrived but fish were healthy and it's been few days and they are doing good. I also did not have any issues contacting them as I called them for an update on my order, phone was picked up instantly and i was provided full details of the status.

Dreadful
Already reviewed this company when I heard nothing after payment - my fish were couriered the week after - two fish I had asked to be removed due to potential size were left in, a tetra was dead and two clown. Fish looked decidedly unhealthy with one lying on its side and the other lethargic when put into their salt water tank - they died within an hour. I contacted Masterfisch and they replied apologising for including the two fish I had asked to be removed and saying I should give them away - they then agreed to refund for the tetra if i provided a photo of the poor thing - I had buried it by this time but as the clown fish had also since died I provided a photo asking for a refund and asking if I needed to dig the tetra up. It would appear this firm can answer when it feels like it but will then ignore you. I have now requested a refund given the response below - I will dig up the tetra worth less than £1 but have already sent a photo of the clownfish and was promised a refund for the silver shark but have been ignored other than this ridiculous response below.

Placed my order with masterfisch, order shipped within 2 weeks which is ok. Order was delayed by 24hrs which was the couriers fault not masterfisch admittedly but this resulted in a blue tang doa. Now this is the point this company really sucks! Multiple attempts to contact them both via email and phone and no reply apart from the 1 and only time I managed to get through to someone on the phone, oh yes sir I see your emails here with your photos attached, we’re just awaiting a review of your photos to confirm and then we’ll get straight back to you. Well that was the last I heard of them. Impossible to deal with. All I want is a replacement blue tang or a refund. Simple. My advice, do not go anywhere near these guys to buy your livestock. Shame

Some fish DOA, nothing but tumbleweed from this company.
Ordered 21st March. Order was then shipped 30th March. Yes from France but to be honest I don’t mind where they are shipping from so long as they take proper care of the fish. This dispatch time is well within their stated time frame so a happy customer at this point. Two weeks is not an unreasonable time frame to expect dispatch of live animals.
Fish arrived in good condition, unfortunately a six stripe wrasse didn’t make it. This sadly is where their service fails dramatically. Several emails regarding the DOA fish. Not one reply after 3 or so emails. Originally they were very responsive however now they have completed the delivery they appear totally uninterested. I’ve even emailed asking them to respond as I really wanted to leave them a positive review.
Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my order. I think it’s fair to now post a reliable review about their lacking post sale customer service. I’ll simply find a more reliable and responsive supplier. Be a great company if they do what they say they will, sadly they don’t.

I understand things may be tough atm but i received my order withen 4 day's if ordering. Would highly recommend!
I was hesitant abiut ordering due to sone of the reviews, but i can honestly say this was the best choice if online shop to use. I order one night got a call the next day, they shipped 5pm the day aftwr and i received them by 10 am the following day. I would highky recommend them! All my fish are healthy and safe. Im definitely ordering again.
I received my fish withen 4 days of ordering.

Received half dead fish and inverts
Received half dead fish and inverts, all completely dead within hours of putting them in the tank. Please note they do not ship from the UK, my parcel came from France. Worst of all they are not responding to my emails. I will have to contact PayPal to get my money back.
Stay clear! Not worth the hassle.

Nothing...got in contact with paypal today and low and behold an email from them stating they are still waiting for the fish to be acclimated before sending them out and coulnt give me a date for delivery.I have once again asked for a refund.and when you ring the number its all in french.Avoid this company at all cost.later today received another email to say my order has been delayed ...yet again i have emailed them back asking for a refund ..you cant supply me with what i have ordered so i want my MONEY BACK.

Don’t respond to email or calls. Left in limbo
Put in a order worth around just under £130 and not heard anything. Got a payment confirmation but that’s all no order shipped they don’t answer their emails and they don’t answer their calls poor service will give them another day to respond after this will not be using their service again and will be reporting them to PayPal for my money back

Ordered one discus as a test and it arrived in immaculate health, ordered a second time and unfortunatly lost half the order to UPS's shody delivery service, masterfisch where excellant and a refund was issued promptly, have ordered again and hope the delivery goes well this time!
