I joined match and after a week saw that it wasn't performing like I had hoped. The amount of people available and the amount I liked and messaged verses how many of them viewed my profile. So I was unhappy after a week and called customer service for a refund. They refused to give me one, said I only had 2 days to do that. I told them just prorate it for the week I used. They refused and have stuck me with a service I don't want for 6 months. SO REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL YOU HAVE 2 DAYS!!!

I cancelled this account including any payments and you are still attempting to take money from my bank?? Its a crap site and it's not worth the money!!! Can someone contact me immediately regarding this!!!

Never paid for a dating site. But thought I would give it go. Wish I had not bothered. Been on a week and only messages I seem to get are from scammers. There should be a way to stop these from making accounts. Match is actually the worse dating site I have used and no way of getting out of my subscription. What a waste of £60.

About a month ago I paid for a 3 month subscription to Match. I didn’t realize it was a “standard” membership, in other words “worthless.” I am unable to see the “likes” or “views” that I have received, and unable to see messages. I can’t figure out WHAT I am paying for and did not get a satisfactory answer from customer service other than to pay more to get more. The subscription process is deceiving!

I was catfished and click baited on match.com and they had no interest in looking into it. Said I should go to the police if I had a complaint. I had emails to prove the issue but no satisfaction after paying good money to be a member. Avoid this site at all costs. They take your money and disavow responsibility.

I was on Match.com and I believe most of the profiles were of women that were no longer using the site but there profile were still being used.
I was being viewed by the same woman at least 2 or 3 times a day when I contacted them I would get maybe 1 reply for not wanting contact and the others would stop viewing me for a few weeks then start again I just block them all.
By the time I finished the 6 months I blocked over 1500 people.
I found the site a waste of time the women had nothing to say for them selves, they expected you to ask all the questions, they would just stop talking to you and a week or 2 later they would return expecting a reply.
Lots of fake profiles, lots of filter photos and lots of photos of what they like 20 years ago.
Not saying I would not use the site again, but if you are on a dating site you shouldn’t believe anything you see or read until you meet the person you are talking to.
If you cannot meet within 2 weeks your wasting your time because the other person is fake and is trying to get a emotional connection so it’s more about the connection then what she looks like in real life, never send money or go to a restaurant for a first date.
I was told by a woman I was talking to that she has friends that have no interest in seeing anyone, they just want a free night out.
You have just got to be careful when you are doing online dating.

Same ppl visit and no mails.. Fake likes fake profiles.. And The ones that arent fake are married and still With exes but having relations With other ppl same time💊💊💊💊💊💊🤑🤑🤑🤑👽👽👽👹💉💉🤮🤮🤮

STAY away from this site! Waste of money! Signed up for standard membership 45.00 gives you nothing! Have too upgrade hundred more just too see likes! Tried too contact company refused too give me refund! Worst dating site ever! So many better ones out there!

Daters beware!

This online dating site has the most untrustworthy customer service team.
I spoke to one of the supervisors named SUE, who was not helpful when I had questions regarding my account.
The sound of her voice, that ‘tone’ will forever deter me from ever re-joining this site.
Follow-up emails from the customer service team is/was written in a way that is all too general, without giving clear and concise answers.

Additionally, when I posted a profile in the past, there were many ‘fake’ accounts from overseas, trying to wheel in unsuspecting/vulnerable woman.
One has the ability to report accounts. Match clearly needs to filter better and be better ‘watch dogs.’

There are far better quality and dignified dating sites out there. This one is just ‘eh.’

Tracking cell phone. Bait and switch: sign up, build profile and start picking and messaging. Over the next few days your access dwindles with claims they need to validate your identity. Cell phone is the only method. Fail to provide and you get locked out permanently. Guess what, even IF they don't sell your info (yet), chances are they are using it for tracking.

Very quick to register, got the automated email to confirm my account...which simply redirects you to the home page. Can't log in because of "invalid credentials" even though I literally just created the account. Clicked "forgot my password" several times and have still received no password reset email.

They're so incompetent they can't even master the smooth processing of new accounts, but judging by the other reviews it looks like I dodged a bullet. Thank god I didn't hand over my card details.

I joined the site for one month only, I was given 50% subscription, I was also given options to join for longer than a month where the discount could’ve been applied I declined. As my intention was to join for one month only, they have debited my account for 29.99 I have tried searching for a number to call and nothing . I want to request a refund as this website is not meeting my needs

I’d give ZERO if possible!! Horrible service. It has actually gotten worse over the years as they’ve taken away features that actually help you make good matches. They nickel and dime for every possible feature on the site. Now you pay $30 and there’s absolutely no benefits to it all you can do is look at search profiles, which is what you can do for free. You can’t see who’s looked at you, you can’t see who’s liked you, you can’t send a message to anyone, there is essentially no benefit paying the $30 because there’s nothing you can do on the site other than upgrade to a premium account which is twice as much. I was on the service for five years with zero quality matches, and in the last two years almost 0 conversations even. The customer service teams do nothing but send you cut and paste letters to your responses they have nothing but declining reviews on the app site and yet they do nothing about it! They have no interest in whether you meet someone or not, which they should, since that’s their business. I have no problem with them making money on their services, I do have a problem with them asking for money for nothing!

A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME & MONEY! Stay away! I paid for a months membership as I thought this would weed out the time wasters etc. Not a chance! Over 500 men viewed / liked my profile in under a week but the moment you viewed or liked their profile they either blocked you or their profile was no longer available?!? If they did message you they came on so strong, fake, phoney, desperate, insincere and with the worst written English ever or just after one thing! If you did get to chat offline then their profile online was no longer available!?! Members only wanted to email offline, one reason given was that they have no WhatsApps and they have no smart phone. Ja right who in the 21st century who does have a smart phone and use WhatsApp! Liars as said not on the site often so can we chat offline, but not that smart as you can see they are online all the time! If did get to the point of been asked on a date or should I say within 5 minutes of chatting online and you advised you still wanted to get to know them they got really aggressive. When I complained to Customer Service at match.com they said block and report them which I did and I was doing. When I asked how they verified members for safety, security and authenticity they could not give me an answer. Never been more relieved to delete my profile. I am on eharmony now which is 100% better and authentic.

Thought to try match.com an paid for an after a wee time getting to chat to ones I was logged out
I put in my password an they wouldnt let me to continue couldnt get using it
I tried lots to change password an nothing works
Finally it got resolved as contacted the customer care team an good job I had write that email contact of customer care on paper to use the woman that replied was nice mannerly i asked for subscription to be cancelled as it was within the fourteen days
I didnt understand why the problems happened that I was logged out then told that the email I had used for match wasnt located on their system ???? an I didnt understand my password did not work that had to try changing it lots as try it through my phone an computer

It risky trying a dating site as have to be careful as predators use any site an people lie an pretend to be someone or something they are not
Yet it hard to find a secure safe dating site as there is people that will use them for their own bad

I have used match.com for about a month and a half and have not been on a date through the site. I have conversed with a few women, but nothing substantial. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone else, save your money for another site that actually works and connects people looking for a significant other.

I’m afraid all the reviews are true! On the whole, It’s awful. I did meet 2 nice guys but just not for me. However men rarely read your profile, you get messages from guys a plane ride away from your home who get narky and stalky when you don’t reply to their random message even though you’ve said in your profile that a pen pal is not what you want! The algorithm for this site is shocking. It Matches you with men that have nothing in common with you and again, miles away . My subscription was due to expire feb 2022 but I’ve cancelled it. Not worth the money and wouldn’t use again
