Awful

Awful! After paying over $2000 for an adjustable base and an additional $150 for set up and haul away, the delivery man informed me that they don't haul away adjustable bases which were purchased from other stores. This, of course, is not mentioned in the description of delivery charges. I canceled the order, but Mattress Firm refused to refund my money.

These people are crooks. They will happily steal your money. Run, don't walk, to any other retailer!

Poor quality and poor customer service

I purchased a rather expensive sheet set from this company in December 2021. With regular wear and wash, the sheets started separating from the elastic on the corner which makes the fitted sheet practically useless. I contacted the customer service chat feature (there isn’t an option for phone calls) and was told that there is only a warranty for replacement for 120 days and did not offer any other options. Poor quality and poor customer service!

If you buy a pillow from MF

If you buy a pillow from MF, please be aware that it is a final sale. The page with the pillow I bought does not mention it, I learned it from customer care, but you would not be able to find this information on the page that displays the pillow. I feel like I have been cheated. I will not recommend this company and take my business to another place. Customer service is insulting.

NYC deliveries are a disaster

The coordination of delivery in NYC is awful. They don’t show up when they say they will and their so called tracker app is useless. Definitely avoid them when buying in NYC

I had trouble with the adjustable base…

I had trouble with the adjustable base which was a temperpedic. I called mattress firm and they wouldn't do anything about it. I've had the bed for 8 months and the manager of the store basically just said well call tempurpedic. They weren't going to do anything. I will not buy from them again..

I had the best experience with mattress…

I had the best experience with mattress firm in hagerstown. Mariah was absolutely amazing and was so helpful. She saved me from a disappointed online purchase i made without trying the bed. Needless to say, I came in to store, she helped me make a switch with and upgrade. Awesome experience!

DO NOT BOTHER

DO NOT BOTHER! We paid thousands of dollars for a mattress only to be EMAILED hours before it was supposed to arrive to say the bases would now be over a month late and the mattress was no longer available. We already scheduled our old mattresses to be removed, so we now have no bed. The email we got was not apologetic in the least, made it seem "unavoidable" and "unknowable." Needless to say, as a pregnant woman with no bed, I am outraged.

Worst Customer Service!!! BUYER BEWARE

After purchasing a headboard for my mother, located in a different state, she stated that the headboard was closer to black, rather than the Dark Gray depicted online. 10 days after my purchase, I contacted the company via both chat and phone AND was informed by each that headboards could not be return. I merely wanted to exchange the item for an identical item in a different color - THEY WOULD NOT EVEN HONOR THAT REQUEST. I was merely told that this was disclosed online (for "sanitary reasons"). However, there was nothing in the actual order confirmation that revealed that headboards could not be returned. I find this odd because they tout their 120 Day return policy on mattresses, but
headboards don't qualify. Which of those two is actually more unsanitary??

Ordered and paid for a mattress on 6/22…

Ordered and paid for a mattress on 6/22 from the Pace FL location and it was delivered a few days later. Then they showed up the following week to deliver the exact same order in which I refused as we already had my order. Now they have turned it over to a collection agency saying I still owe them the same amount. Called the morning of 8/22 and spoke with the branch manager who was totally clueless. He stated he could see in their system where I had already paid for it and said he could get me in contact with someone in their finance department. I informed him this isn't my responsibility and it was theirs. The manager couldn't care a less. No apologies, nothing. Just there to collect a paycheck. He couldn't manage his was out of a wet paper bag. Long and short, don't purchase from Mattress Firm

Do not TRUST Mattress firm or synchrony bank. Go elsewhere.

I will sum this up with a few words. Do not trust mattress firm. You are not getting the bed you are paying for. We had two different changes with our tempurpedic and to be flat out honest I am more Disappointed in the bed than I can possibly explain. I don t believe for the life of me that we got what we actually paid for. The bed is horrible quality and I won’t ever buy a tempurpedic or deal with mattress firm again. Oh and I qualified for 48 months interest free on my acct with mattress firm and even though I have a perfect payment history they closed my acct so I have no further activity. For no reason. I sincerely caution you not to fall

Bedford Plush 7st Queen

Bedford Plush 7st Queen,
After 6 months there is now a lump in the middle of the bed and 2 hollows where we sleep, ( wife is 55kg), I wouldn’t recommend this bed, we have rotated it several times and is getting worse. Very disappointing as we now have to dump the bed.

Bakersfield CA Mattress Firm Stores

Buyer beware. Our sales guy was Zachariah. Firstly, I wish I had gotten someone else. Zach, as I will call him, seemed visibly bothered when I returned to the store several times. No smile, no friendliness, a lack of warmth for sure. He was frustrated when I asked questions. But the biggest issue I had is his tactics are a bit sketch.

Background. So my wife and I were getting horrible sleep. She has back issues, and I have sleep apnea and snoring problems. We are both like zombies because we have a special needs son, and now her 90 yo. father moved in with us on hospice. We need our sleep! We went straight for the top of the line, Tempur-Pedic LUXE Breeze. We wanted split cal-kings so we could each adjust our own liking. Retail too high, so Zach told us there was a return we could get "highly" discounted. Ok fine. But I told him this is first store, we want to try more stores... this seemed to trigger him and he went into full press closure mode. Offered us a sleep trial on these used mattresses, even though he said it was "against policy." Also said he could get us a deal on a returned base, even though bases are not returnable? Ok, but I play along. He insists we run credit and type up an invoice. Ok, I relent again, regrettably. When I got home, looked at invoice... highly discounted turned out to be just $1000 off per side of 11k worth of mattress and base! Some high discount eh?

We then go try out sleep number, and it's not for us, and then drop into another chain nearby to check the feel of tempur-pedic again. This time we change what we like to a Tempur Adapt PRO Hybrid. We work with a sales guy there and set it up, nice base with massage, and all, for much less than the LUXE. I called Zach and let him know we were canceling with him and going with another store. You would have thought I kidnapped his firstborn by his reaction. Anyway I went back to see Zach, and he wanted to make the sale, so he said they didn't have the Adapt PRO hybrid clearance, but did have the Adapt PRO all foam. Ok, not the mattress my wife liked, but he kept lowering the price. So I gave in, my bad.

So a few observations. They will bait and switch on the adjustable bases. He never even showed me what base I was getting, I assumed it was the one I tried. Instead, I got a "mattress firm" branded one with missing parts and a foot section that doesn't go down all the way. So be very wary of what base you get sold. In fact they have sales sometimes where the base is thrown in, so demand they do that. It is clear their wiggle room is with the base. They will say the warranty is void if it is not on one of their bases. Come on! Really? Clearly, shenanigans since I got some off-branded base. The base is made of the cheapest actuators and minimal materials. This cannot cost them that much, but I was told, "I can get you a base for $1500, regular $1800." The invoice shows the base was billed at $850. Shenanigans!

So fast forward to a few weeks in the bed. My wife and I are sleeping worse. Bed is too hot and too firm. I go to talk to Zach. His response is basically, "oh well." That is some great customer service. Now we have a $5000 rock we are stuck with. So you spend a third of your life on the mattress, and Zach doesn't care he sold me a lemon. Awful customer service. He says policy is that I can't return it because it was warehouse clearance. Ok, but wait one damn minute, you were willing to violate "policy" on the LUXE and let me return it!! Nope, Zach changes policy as it fits him on the fly.

To summarize. Stay away from Mattress Firm. They are not interested in helping you find a bed that will help improve your life; they are only interested in parting you with your money. If you must go to either Bakersfield store and Zach is working, ask for someone else, or walk out. I met a very nice helpful sales gal when Zach abandoned me to go eat his lunch.

I can't believe Tempur-Pedic would allow a customer to get worse sleep on their bed than their old worn-out mattress. Shame on Mattress Firm and shame on Tempur-Pedic. I would go with a competing brand if I were you. Even though the sleep number bed wasn't for us, give them a try. The sales guys were no pressure, friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. I wish I had gone with them for just that reason. They include many features standard as well.

Ok, now I will go back to being a zombie getting no sleep. Don't make the same mistake I made, shop another chain, and stay away from Mattress Firm, or you will end up a zombie like me.

stop this company doesn't care about you. they take your money don't deliver and then place your order on back order. then they won't give you a refund I've waited 30 days and still no refund. for the largest Matteris company their customer service sks.

marks Scratches on my Wall

I. Had a recently bought a memory foam mattress in a box from the lake Geneva wi location . I had exchanged it. when I had the mattress scheduled for delivery I could not be there due to.being out of town I had my mom receive the mattress for me. When it came. L However the driver had scratched my side wall. At least 23 times Going upstairs. I was away due to a family member on her death bed. My mother is 80 years old and can not walk up stairs well. She had asked the delivery man Roosevelt if there were any problems he stated none. Any scratches or or marks. we’re also asked he said no my mother signed the paper work I come home. late I go to bed from a long 8 hour drive when I wake up I see 23 scratches. On my wall. I called to complain and talked to Matt and was tasked a few questions like did the drive say anything were photos take. At this time I said no there were not because my mother can not walk up the stairs the sale associate I talked to saiid he would call right back he has 2 custermers which was at 10:30 am however the sales men never did Now I’m left with tons of giant marks on my wAll I do have photos p which were taken early morning. I do have photos When I bought the mattress. The sale Associate. Peter. very helpful I went back and talked to him and he was nice and. Had sent a email to the warehouse I’m still waiting for there email

Long story short....DO NOT BUY ANYTHING…

Long story short....DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY...they and Beautyrest do not stand behind their products or services!!! If you have a "warranty" claim they will deny it and claim obscure language in the warranty document that was never provided or explained at the time of purchase. BUYER BEWARE!!

Then they wanted to throw a coupon at me to offset the cost to buy another one....are you freakin kidding me?? I have more integrity than that. I'll be going somewhere else to do my business.

Welcome to the shadiest experience of buying a mattress
First I try and purchase the mattress online. After I input a code online and the site recognizes the discount, I go to checkout and the website deletes my item. I did this over a couple of days and after speaking with a customer representative I realized they do this on purpose.

2. After I speak with a representative who tries to upsell me on more products I enter my credit card info and it's declined. I check my credit card company and they CHARGED ME 3 TIMES.

Great Price, Bad Warranty

I bought a Serta online from Mattress Firm.. Was on sale with discounts.. A great deal! But after 2/years, the Serta mattress has collapsed (as in sinks in where we sleep). I filled a warranty claim and Mattress Firm agreed. So Mattress Firm gave me a store credit for the discounted price of the mattress with no options to physically replace the mattress. I need a mattress, not a store credit. Note that the sale price I bought it for will not cover the purchase of a new one (big exclusions stating that the credit cert could not be used on any sale or discounted items, so I cannot get the same deal I had before... I will need to pay up and pay the list price for my replacement ). Yes, they got me. So bottom line, I cannot recommend Serta nor Mattress Firm. Order from any other manufacturer online.. Or Amazon who holds true to their warranty. Just my experience and opinion.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MATTRESS FIRM TO ANYONE

I recently purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm and had NO idea about all the stipulations that came with returning this product due to my wife not being able to rest on the mattress. When asking to exchange and pay the difference for a Firmer Mattress I was told NO because I purchased a Cal/King and I bought it on sale ($1900) and it’s my problem not theirs.
That’s not good customer service a DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO NO ONE SEEKING TOTAL CONSUMER SATISFACTION.
