That is a very common starting point! A somewhat firm feel is actually a great sign—it means the support system is robust and hasn't been "broken in" yet.
It’s completely normal to need a little time to adjust. Most people find that it takes about 30 to 60 nights for their body to fully align with a new support system and for the mattress materials to soften slightly and find their "true feel."
