This is a beautiful, quality bed - we are very happy with it. I had to shop around a lot to find an oak bed that wasn't super chunky. One minor comment is re the the packaging - not at all environmentally friendly. We have just moved to the UK so have received dozens and dozens of packages and various furniture items. This was the only one that included polystyrene - A LOT of polystyrene - it seemed OTT and unnecessary. Clearly sustainability isn't a priority for the manufacturer which is at odds with their competitors.
