On arrival the cardboard packing box was showing signs that it had been bashed about in transit, but the box components were all individually wrapped and showed no signs of damage. An Aluminium base / ladder frame in my opinion was not the correct length and had to be packed out to ensure square alignment to end plates that hold the end walls. Assembly instructions could be a lot clearer. On closer inspection there was aesthetic damage to one end of the box lid, but the powder coating was not damaged and it does not affect lid function. The white plastic corrugated panel that lies on the aluminium base was a surprise, as it seems a bit flimsy and a cheap solution for the price of the box. The waterproof liner is secured using Velcro around the top of the box aperture and does not fit neatly around the box lid support struts. In summary it's a decorative aluminium box, which looks better than black plastic alternatives. The finished assembly looks okay and the box stores the cushions as it should.
