Absolutely disgusting, ordered £30 worth of food delivery driver shows up with only drinks in hand. Said he couldn’t do anything about it and to ring mcdonald’s went down to mcdonald’s they said “once the delivery driver touches it, it’s nothing to do with them”. Stood there early in morning with 4 drinks in my hand like an idiot it’s absolutely slack. Gets home no contact number for uber rang mcdonald’s app spoke to a woman, refund issued of £8. Rang again different woman said email is wrong and on her end it’s £19? £19? 3rd times it’s happened absolutely disgusting. Turned around to her and said so it’s £11 for 4 small drinks i don’t think so. She said only can do a partial refund, ended phone. Don’t order from here because people can’t manage to put food in a bag and give it to a delivery driver, absolutely disgusting.
A shocking App
A shocking App, with meaningless error messages or simply blank screens that give no indication to user where a problem lies, using either my wife's android phone or mine neither of us can checkout an order anymore (they both used to work), have cleared out cache/data have the most upto date version,, valid card selected for payment but cannot place an order. I am an IT manager, experienced with tech, the app worked okay until around 2-3 months ago but appears to be simply no longer fit for purpose.

Mcdonalds app is very poor. Always down and giving error issues. When the app 1st came out it wasn't too bad. Lately you can't order anywhere on it anymore in service stations or my local store. So you can't spend your rewards points or monopoly I think this is why they do it. Whay give you offers and can never use them. Mcdonalds app is an absolute joke....

Order my dinner came to paying says 9.78 then when I finshed it added 1.99 for delivery which is fine but then add 1.50 for service and other 2.00 for VAT which they should have in the price of your order and macdonlds don't even fill you up I'm sticking to subway from now on

I ordered on the mc Donald’s app to be delivered to my home address. However, after making the order I realised the address to be delivered to was mc Donald’s address. I tried to cancel the order on the app, but said it was too late. I then called the store and they cancelled the order. I then called Uber eats as instructed by mc Donald’s employees to cancel the order officially on the app. I spoke to them twice and the phone cut. I then called back again 7 days later to see if it can still be resolved and they said since it’s been more than 48 hrs that I can’t receive a refund. I had to reorder again that day so spent double on mc Donald’s and yet I’m not allowed to receive a refund for an order that was never made nor delivered. I expected more from a company like this, mc Donald’s just stole from me?? Like what the hell, I use the app all the time as well, I’m a loyal customer and yet they did this 🫤🫤

Had to keep going to checkout then adding item to order.
Clicked on delivery but when I'd paid it said bring your phone to the store so had to drive there when it was inconvenient.
Then the food wasn't ready even though I'd clicked we'd arrived then queued for 5 minutes
Very slow
Very slow, must have location turned on would not let me complete my order without this set. Payment method seems to be requested multple times. Once payment was made the lag in the order completion seemed very suspect. I would like to be able to order by proxy. I wanted to order the food for my wife who was driving home but wouldn't let me
Frustrating app
My partner was at work and he ordered some food for our son for me to go collect at the drive thru. He gave me the code but because I didn't have the mobile device they wouldn't give it to me. Has anyone else had this issue, is it a new thing as I've collected before with just a code. Frustrating and annoying.i would like to know why the app is so locked down. Feedback welcome

Don't use the Mcdonalds App nor Uber!
I used the App to make my order as I had a Monopoly voucher of 6 free nuggets, which was confirmed and then I received a message saying the order was cancelled, no explanation. I made the order again but it wouldn't take my voucher again as I'd just used it! I tried to contact customer service but there's no number or email so used the virtual assistant. I would highly recommend no one every use their virtual assistant if you want to keep your sanity! I had to repeat myself twice but it still just kept telling me to contact the delivery team or courier - no idea why as McDonalds had cancelled it. In the end I had to put 'complaint' and then lie and say it was due to the front counter and not the app. It says someone is reviewing it but we'll see if that happens. Then I made my order again through the app, but it was cancelled again, so I called the delivery team / courier, which was Uber. She went off for a minute to find out why it had been cancelled and then just said McDonalds have cancelled it, she doesn't know why and she'll refund me. I questioned why she couldn't get in touch with them to find out and she said it was their procedures and said that even if I spoke to McDonalds they would just refer me back to Uber even though it was McDonalds who cancelled it. What a ridiculous system, passing the buck and no one taking responsibility. I will never use the app nor Uber again. What a waste of time. I then went on to Deliveroo and it looks like an item isn't available, but instead of McDonalds contacting me to offer something else or give me a reason, they just cancel it.

Food arrived an hour late stone cold and missing an item, driver could not find our address???
When I finally got through to a person on the phone he said it was delivered in the timeframe and could only refund the £1.23 chicken nuggets, and could not do anything about the stone cold food! The total price was £18 for food that had to be reheated as had been with the driver for almost an hour.
When I checked my bank account I did not receive the refund but another £1.23 taken out instead.
And to top it all both myself and husband were up all night with a bad stomach.
Will never do a delivery again should have learnt from past experiences.
Not happy at all and if you use the app to chat its rubbish.
Shame on you Mcdonalds.

1 star is more than this app deserves. Placed an order. Delivery time changed 4 times on the 5th time the order was cancelled by the restaurant or ubber driver. Payment was left pending for over 48 hours and now they've taken the payment. Tried to get a refund but as its been more than 48 hours neither mcdonalds or ubber eats will refund. No order recieved and no money returned is that even legal!!!

My wife and I tried to check for any prizes we had won, after 10 mins going round in circles, we gave up. We stopped using the app to order food long ago, now we have uninstall the app.

HORRIBLE!!! It never works. It tells u, you have already used the app once when you havent. The reps are rude telling you they cant help you, it is what it is. The app takes your points u knowing and the reps wint replace them even if the app MALFUNCTIONS. I had over 3200 points they told me I used them all on Fries when its Free fry Fridays and also when theres a deal where you can get free fries if purchasing something $2 or more when the receipt shows I purchased a Frappe. But whatever. POINT IS, THE APP SUCKS.

I used the app in store I ordered a meal plus used a reward 4500 points went to checkout oops something wrong so I fid not think I was charged. So i do the same go to checkout out low and behold the same thing happens so you think I would not be charged so I try again two more times third time same thing oops something went wrong however after the fourth time I get bada boom your order is on its way . So I wait at my table get the order and started eating not one minute later I get another order and a third order . So I was charged $7.36 four times and list 13000 rewards. I emailed McDonald’s after a couple back and forth they pass the buck to the store so I go and explain what happened and I walk out with nothing. The app charged me and took my rewards . I have put one star as it’s the lowest I can go.
We have just ordered McDonald’s breakfasts for my grandchildren as a treat. The Uber delivery driver claimed he could not find us so marked it down as delivered . We have spoken to someone who informed us we won’t get a refund or our food as the delivery driver phoned which he did was really rude and said he was now right mikes away and could not bring our food so I’ve lost my mo ey we didn’t get our food so all in all a big scam and a rip off I’m really angry 😡
