Commissioned to do a post-purchase Condition Report for a house in a relatively poor state of repair in south-west Scotland.
Everything went smoothly and I was struck by the professionalism, enthusiasm and (importantly) very realistic approach to the work. The quotation was competitive, the work conducted without fuss.
The report was comprehensive and focused, and accompanied by excellent, clear photographs (don't underestimate how poor photos taken by a lot of professionals often are these days).
Even if your house isn't local to Dumfries, I would highly recommend McGowan Miller and I am considering also using them for further project management services (depending on qualifications of architect).
