I simply am head over heels over this McNeela mandolin!!! I have looked for a mandolin for a number of years, and I decided to purchase this one from the McNeela family. I am so thankful for this beautiful and warm rich sounding mandolin!
I have been so enriched by Paraic’s emails with great Irish musicians, and uplifting messages! The inspiration I feel is truly a blessing.
Someday I hope to visit the McNeela music store in Dublin! Until then I’m playing my new mandolin for everyone I know!

The sound is great, light, compact and a proper hard case.
When I received the concertina, there were some minor issues due to the transportation by post but the Team is very helpful by assisting me via email to solve the problems.

I ordered two sets of wooden spoons. They are comfortable and easy to play and they sound good - a good value for the price. However, I should note that one set broke upon first use and is being replaced by the seller.

We purchased a black electric violin and accessories for our daughter as a birthday gift. McNeal Instruments was quick to process and shipping was speedier than I expected. Although to be honest I only live down the road, around the corner and then 3811 miles away, give or take a mile or two. That’s like 🤷10000 kilometers I think. Opening the package unveiled a stylish, futuristic looking gloss black instrument that is impressive enough to display as art as well as sounding excellent when played through our Vox tube amp as well as our acoustic amp. Hearing Stairway to Heaven straight out the case was beautiful. I’m not a violin player but my daughter who is thinks it is excellent from tuners to chin rest loves it. The price point was far better than I thought and I am so glad I didn’t have to use Amazon. I am 98% Irish and two percent Sub-Sahara African and I have immense pride in my Irish roots and was very pleased to have found McNeela Instruments.

The piano I bought from this company sounds the same to me on just about every Mode I put it in. I an really sad it doesn't have the 'Organ' mode.

Customer service can do a lot better.

When I contacted customer service, their response was cold, it was as though them replying me was just too much effort.

Bought a Bodhrán for my 4 year old son who has been watching the Chieftains since he was able to watch. He had been asking for a Bodhrán all year, so looking around McNeela had the best prices and they shipped to Alaska! And was delivered faster from Dublin than most things from the lower 48.The boy has been marching around playing the drum since Christmas. It's nice to be able to keep our traditions alive so far away.

The flute is Beautiful, but very hard to get a consistent tone out of. This was a Christmas gift for my wife who has played a silver flute for 50 years but is frustrated with the playability of this instrument. She needs some very basic suggestions

Package arrived safely today after being held up by the Canada Post Strike for 2 months! Fortunately the 2 items I purchased were well packaged. I am delighted with the McNeela low whistle gig bag and the Clarke Sweetone whistle in C. So I will be sending a separate review for each item soon. Thank you McNeela Music!

Super beautiful (Wild) whistle, good craftsmanship for a great price! The Sib is sensitive to saliva and dares to block if you play long and fast! practice, practice, practice!

Fast delivery well packaged great product well set up only problem was product description said premium gig bag in my opinion a basic unpadded cover is not a premium gig bag

The McNeela Vituoso violine is perhaps intended as a great choice for advanced students. As a senior occasionaly playing at various sessions I'm very happy to own it. That makes me to be a much better fidler in all aspects - intonation, rhytm and improvisation with the awesome feeling of beautiful tone as well.

I had been looking for an Irish bouzouki for quite some time because I loved both the music and the sound of the instrument but finding anything local was impossible. I started shopping online then and discovered McNeala. Because I am careful I vetted reviews and McNeala kept coming up favorably. Then I found one I could afford that got great reviews. But I really wanted the cedar top. I added my name to a waitlist and had nearly completely forgotten and was on the verge of giving up when I received an email from McNeala letting me know one was available. I was so excited I ordered one the next day. In my excitement, I forgot to add a bag to the order so they had to ship two items. Both arrived in good condition. I love instrument. It seems to have incredibly easy playability. I am a first time bouzouki owner/player and couldn’t be happier. Not to all of this through both the holidays and the political drama going on. Thank you!!
