As with any business always room for improvement particularly around digital engagement

I bought some fabric from the auction house ,they wouldn’t ship and said they recommend shipping companys on there web page ,I received a quote of £95 ,to post half a roll of fabric ,the item was only £55 to buy ,While I understand this is out of the Auction rooms hands but I question why you would recommend mailbox in the first place ,I went with another shipping company for half the price which is also recommended on there site ,in this environment why CARNT you employ someone to rap and ship for you ,I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to give this to someone who needs the work ,rather than give it to these company’s who price themselves out of the market ,I for one would be delighted to know that my money is going to someone like that than these company’s ,Colin moran has been great he kept me informed of my deliver and was half the price ,he’s been professional and polite and helpful ,he should be at the top of the list ,I’ll be using him again when I buy from you ,

Excellent end to end service and very flexible during these difficult times!

McTears did not inform me that the paintings were slightly damaged, where paint had rubbed off decades previously. I also sensed afterward that I paid far too much for these two lots.

McTears staff always very helpful. I do my bids via internet at moment and go in to collect item. All professionally done.

Have always found Mctear's very helpful in every way even in lock down nothing is to much trouble for the Mctear's team

Under no circumstances should anyone consider this company. I have had two lots that didn’t sell and despite saying I would collect them they have given them away. This is despite saying they won’t. Terrible service and just don’t care.

I felt the items were poorly grouped and grouped in haste. I visited the showing on the day previous to the auction and discovered that one of my items had actually been added to another sellers items. It was rectified but with poor grace and no apology. Won't use Mctears again.
