MD1 Removals were professional, reliable, efficient right from the 1st phone call. Great comms with Madalina throughout, and on the day of the move, Daniel and his 3 lads worked really hard, quickly and efficiently, and they were also very polite and extra helpful. We moved 130 miles from Milton Keynes to Shropshire, a fairly long drive and a long tiring day. These guys took a lot of the stress out of it. Sure, you might find somebody a bit cheaper, but if you want a top quality service, and to be assured your removals guys won't let down, MD1 Removals come very highly recommended - Thanks again guys !

I highly recommend MD1 removals. We used them in December for our 150 mile relocation and couldn't be happier.
They were super quick, super tidy and took great care of our belongings.
It took so much stress out of the move, especially as they waited with us until we got the keys - 5 hrs with minus 7 degrees!
Communication was constant and to great detail, we felt very informed at every step of the way.
I will happily use them again.

Communicaton from Madalina was excellent, from my initial enquiry right through to issuing the invoice after the move. She's a gem.

I opted for the packing service and it was also excellent: the packers checked exactly what we wanted to go, marked all the boxes so we could find things in the new house, packed everything very safely (there were no breakages at all) and worked so efficiently.

Unpacking was just as good - they brought all furniture and boxes into the rooms we asked for, and before they left they walked through the house with us to check if we wanted anything heavy moved into another position before they left.

There were no negatives at all and I would use MD1 again in a heartbeat.

Madalina and her team are fantastic. Quick, clear communication right up to removal day. On the day itself, they were professional, calm, considerate and extremely efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again – highly recommended!

MD1 Removals were just great. They did a video survey to confirm contents of our home and make sure the quote, and their team and vans were right on the day, then they kept us up to date, turned up exactly as promised and worked flat out but carefully to get us moved quickly and efficiently. Handled two flights on steps on the outbound flat and a very narrow driveway on our new house without complaint. They were courteous, careful, protected all our furniture and communicated well on the day. Totally happy!

If you’re doing a long-haul trip, I can’t recommend MDRemovals highly enough. It was a very reasonable quote compared to ones elsewhere, and when we notified them in advance that we may have slightly more than we first suggested, they very kindly didn’t bump up the price.

Madalina was very helpful throughout the process, while the drivers who packed up our stuff and took it to our new place were very efficient and approachable.

Overall, our move went very very smoothly thanks to MDRemovals.

What made the experience great was the quick feedback on quotes. I have had bad experiences previously and was dependent on good insurance, MD1 satisfied my insurance questions.

They arrived 10min before the scheduled start time. The staff were exceptionally kind to our kids, moving is always traumatic. They were efficient but not rushed and very meticulous in the manner that they dealt with our possessions.

We opted for a full packing and unpacking service. I would highly recommend MD1Removals, and would not hesitate to use them again.

These guys are the best. I have moved a few times before but these guys are experts. They are very respectful of your belongings in all respects and go out of their way to place items where you want them. Hanging around for ages waiting for the completion from solicitor was normal for them, even though they had moved me 100miles away. Madalina was very calming and professional and soothed all our worries. Martin oversaw the loading and unloading by the team in a professional , calm expert manner. Excellent value for money, perfect 2 day move.

Fantastic service from start to finish - and it was the most competitive quote! Madalina coordinates everything and is friendly and helpful. She was able to flexibly respond at short notice to our constantly changing move date. The team on the day were very careful, professional and fast. Loading a lot of our stuff the day before was really helpful with a lengthy journey on move day itself. Highly recommended.

Wow ! What a fab company this. Daniel and his team were working at top speed to move us out of our home. They had everything packed up and moved into the van so fast, I was amazed at their competence. The carpets were covered to protect them and every single item was wrapped properly. Thank you for making a very sad and stressful day due to personal circumstances , run as smoothly as possible.

These guys are absolutely amazing. We hired them to move us to Norfolk from Hertfordshire and they also packed for us. They swept through the house like an efficient tornado and everything was packed within a few hours. They did a fantastic job and worked really hard to unpack all our stuff the other end - even working in the dark. Also great value for money and friendly and polite. Can't recommend them enough.

What an amazing team of guys! They had everything in the van so fast, even the Keita shed and other garden bits. They arrived at our new house before we did and had already re-erected the shed in the back garden when we arrived. Everything was sited in the house as requested and the furniture re-assembled. Can't thank the guys enough, and on top of that they had a 400 mile round trip to make in 1 day. I can't commend them enough and would recommend them to anyone. Great work, and thanks again guys!

We wanted a removal service that could make our move as stress free as possible and we found MD1 offered removals, dissasembly/reassembly, packing and cleaning. What we got was a service much better than we anticipated.

Firstly, it is a business ran by a couple who deal with everything from quotes, packing, moving and cleaning. They do it all themselves, so during the move they have the power to make decisions if plans slip or change. So you're never speaking to a messenger you will always be dealing with one of the bosses, who are there getting their hands stuck into the work.

We firstly had our new home deep cleaned, initally they thought it would take about 3-4hours with 2 people. I was surprised when one of the bosses turned up to clean, as I simply assumed they would outsource it to another cleaning company as other removal companies do.

It ended up taking about 7 hours (opposed to 3-4hrs) to deep the house and they enlisted help from 2 more guys who were in the area during the final couple of hours to speed things up. I was initally worried the delay would have some reprecussions but they didn't charge extra and still packed the old house after the cleaning the new one in the same day. The bathrooms, kitchens and appliances such as ovens looked almost new, they were spot less! They were actually on their hands and knees making sure all the dirt, limescale and everything was completely cleaned. This gave us so much peace of mind when we finally moved in as everything felt fresh and new. It was definitely cleaner than we would have cleaned it, and far better than we even thought possible. - They never took a break despite offering them food and drinks.

Then came the packing, right after the full day cleaning, they had 5 people packing our entire house for 2 hours straight, no breaks and the poor guys were sweating (as some had done removals elsewhere before joing us in the evening). We counted upto 80boxes all labelled - this alone would've taken us 2 months with doses of procrastination and annoyance at living with boxes. Absolutely worth it if you hate packing half as much as I do.

Then on the removal day they arrived earlier than scheduled (they also arrived early on the home clean day). Within about 3 hours and with 4 guys they had loaded 2 medium sized trucks and had dissambled all our large furniture. They had clothes boxes and stuff to hang our clothes that weren't packed in boxes. Dispite telling them to have an hours lunch they must've only had half an hour as they arrived at the new house way before us. They don't mess about and just want to crack on with the job and are very professional about it.

Unloading was also great and they re-assembled our furniture where ever we wanted and even offered to unbox stuff for us when the boss had a free hand, but as space was tight we thought we'd leave that for ourselves and unbox at our own pace as we settle into the house.

Overall, I highly recommend MD1 Removals, you will be dealing with a very lovely and hard working couple who do it all so can change plans and make decisions to suit you, and they hire hard working people who don't mess about. They just dealt with everything and the cleaning and packing really gave us a peace of mind and took a massive stress off us. The move itself didn't feel actually feel that stressful and we felt we were well looked after throughout the process.
