Unresponsive company and poor quality work on last visit …
I live in Comley crescent chesterfield also connected to Hulford street. This company has the contract for maintenance landscaping. Since May there had been no maintenance here and following complaints they finally visited us! The work they carried is shocking ! Half done jobs poor standards appalling . This isn’t good enough and people here are very dissatisfied with this service for which they pay!

Terrible company
Terrible company, they inflate bill with "overhead charges" that exceed the bill of the work actually done.
They dodge any questions when asking for a breakdown of the overinflated overhead costs, they will not provide information on the proceed to break the deed of contract with an over 50% vote from residents which we have.
They will advise you to raise a "Stage 1 compliant" and then proceed to completely ignore it. Despite raising it several times over 4 months

Unfortunately, we are unable to identify you so that we can look at the area on the development that you are unhappy with. Therefore, if you could contact our Customer Care Team, they will be happy to look into your concerns.
However, we have taken part in the No Mow May initiative, which encourages letting selected areas of green space to grow to support wildlife. Giving areas a break from mowing helps bees, butterflies and other pollinators thrive. We also let this bloom into June, so that wildlife can benefit as long as possible.

Had to give 1 star which is difficult as I can’t actually rate their work as they haven’t been seen in over 6 weeks! This organisation are a joke and absolute disgrace, zero in terms of maintenance, zero in terms of customer service / support, really is criminal that they can get away with this
In response to your reply I have contacted customer don’t care team who provided the same generic “we attend every two weeks” but I have since shared photos and explained I work from home and can see exactly when you attend and it is closer to 6 weeks since you last made an appearance

Our contractors use our internal app to log their visits with photographs every visit, which is generally every two weeks, as do our Regional Managers, who attend the development once a month to carry out an inspection of the contractors work. Meadway are ripping our estate off with their charges…
Whist the Customers service team are very profesional I fundamentally have an issue with teh service we receive from Meadfleet for the costs we are charged on oru estate. There are weeds growing out of the kerbs and poor management of estate common areas. After 10 years the service needs to improve or the costs should be significantly reduced

We have taken a look at the latest inspection report for your development and we can see that the areas within the Meadfleet Scheme are looking well maintained, with no litter on the development, the grass is cut as is the balancing pond .
Whilst we understand your frustration with the weeds in the roadways, these areas are not Meadfleet's to maintain. I will ask our Customer Care Team to issue you with a plan of the development showing the areas that we do maintain, which, for your reference is the balancing pond and all the green areas of public open space that encompass the whole of the outside edges of the development, which as we have confirmed , are looking well maintained.

Plant and insect diversity around the pond
Meadfleet is the maintenance company that looks after our green spaces ;always a reliable and quality service but at a reasonable price.
Last week we were lucky to have a residents event around the settlement pond looking at the plant and insect diversity.
Meadfleet ‘s expert Paul and the site manager Kyle lead the children and adults with insect nets and pond dipping and shared his extensive knowledge to keep both children and adults interested and inspired by nature encouraged by No Mow May.
Strata, provided the estate with fabulous bird boxes : off cuts of wood are donated to be used by prisoners who learn new skills to make them. Win win
Our pond definitely came alive for everyone who attended the meet. Hopefully to be repeated!

Nice staff and good experience.
The staff are nice, cheerful and knowledgeable. They showed my boys and I what to do, catching wild flies and insect and viewing and naming them. And we all did it together. It was a good experience. My boys have interest in preserving wild life, and this is a good experience for them to get in touch with nature and to be aware of their place in our environment. We had thoughtful gifts to take home with too! Thank you guys.
