Please avoid this home if you can. One of my parents was put in here by social services during lockdown & the service has been abysmal. None of the communal areas are open to residents who are just left alone in their rooms. The home is often closed to visitors due to covid (more than any other it seems). They clearly are lacking is staff (as confirmed by the few who do work there). They do not seem to have adequate training to deal with end of life nursing despite being keen to keep residents who should be moved to better facilities. Staff seem scared to administer certain care as they are not trained properly.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to move our parent. The GP and CHC seem unable to get the staff to follow their instructions and management are nowhere to be seen.
