Wonderful purchasing experience. As I only recently started looking into the world of customisable split ergo keyboards, I received tons of help from MechBoards, from help with placing the order to after care soldering the components and flashing the firmware. I am now happily typing this review from my new keyboard.

Slow to replenish stock, but excellent service and products

Abolute Recommendation if you want to start in the World of Split Keyboards!
Ordering and delivery was seemless. I opened the package and it was packed with passion and love for the topic. I needed to tighten two bolts for the display cover, but that's probably due to some handling of the shipment, not a big deal at all.
Connecting the Keyboard to the PC and it worked greatly out of the box. Additional info in the packaged help me get started and configure it in the way it works for me. Now I'm starting my learning journey to typing from the start.

I love it! Thanks so much for making the entry this easy. Building it on my own would have been too much of a burden to get started into new ergonomics!

I sent my Ultimate Hacking Keyboard v1 to Mechboards to have all the switches desoldered and an alternative set soldered on. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Mechboards and recommend them to anyone looking for desoldering/soldering services.

Now my keyboard which I’ve already had for 6 years is starting a new chapter with a different switch type. I changed from heavy Cherry clears to light Cherry blossoms, as the clears started giving me a couple of bad finger joints.

Mechboards were very clear and communicative with the process and feeding back on progress of the work they do. Very happy customer!

I proposed a more expensive key-switch, but the person helping me with my order instead suggested a much cheaper switch which was exactly what I wanted.
