Blurry Jigsaws
I received 2 Motherwell 1000 piece jigsaws as gifts, Yesteryear and Going to the Match, although it was my sister that paid for them and not me they are seriously overpriced, £44.99 and are of very poor quality indeed, thin card and the image has been over enlarged leading to it being so blurry that it is difficult to make out the individual pieces. I would have liked to have kept this as a piece of nostalgia however once I complete the first one, if I even manage to, I doubt I will even start the second jigsaw. Also, there is no mini poster inside so the only guide is the picture on the box which is certainly way more detailed than the actual puzzle.

I placed my order on 4 January, and it did not arrive until 17 January. This is very disappointing, as I was going to give the card for a special occasion on 11/12 January. The delivery note states that it was due by 6 January, which would be unachievable!

In this particular case, the image used for the jigsaw puzzle was supplied in a cropped format, as confirmed in the product details and order summary. Since all our products are custom-made, variations in image layout can occur depending on the shape of the image file and the selected product. We always provide an option for customers to adjust the cropping in the order preview on the Shopping Cart screen by using the “Adjust Cropping” link.

Puzzles are designed with repeating shapes, where the pieces fit together to form a clear image. However, for puzzles with a large amount of similar colours or patterns, it can sometimes be more challenging to assemble, as certain areas may appear to fit incorrectly. This could give the impression that the puzzle pieces don’t align properly.
That said, we understand your concern and take any potential quality issues very seriously. If you still believe there is a problem with the cutting or overall quality of the puzzles, we kindly ask that you send us photos illustrating the issue. You can email these images, ideally captured with a camera phone, to sales@mediastorehouse.com. Once we receive the photos, we will thoroughly review them and promptly follow up with you directly.
Suspect Storehouse
I received a print as a bday gift. It was first opened a little time after purchase. All the edges had been crushed, from what I would suspect is some very suspect packaging. I relayed said suspicions to the customer service team who kindly told me this could have been done in any manner of ways (maybe it was a clever dog, or a very crafty toddler) who knows. What I do know, is I now have a useless print, a sad mammy (gift buyer) and a long-term distrust in Media Storehouse.

As per our published policy, we ask customers to notify us of any problems as soon as possible after delivery (within 15 days of receiving items) so that we can investigate and assist promptly. In this instance, the order was delivered in October, but we weren’t informed of the issue until December. As explained in our direct message, regrettably, due to the time that has passed, we’re unable to provide a replacement on this occasion.
That said, we take your feedback about packaging seriously and will review it with our team to ensure we’re doing everything possible to better protect our products during and after delivery.
