MediaWorld - Lucca Reviews 101

What a terrible shop MediaWorld-Lucca , arrogant , not capable and must hate their clients.
We are client from this shop and the Italian website for years.
Normally we have good and attend service , but today 15/11/25 at 11am , we found a very empty shop
and we were helped by a lady from Miele and within 5-10 minute we ordered a dishwasher.
Then a lady, would take over and make the PO , but she was slow, had to ask everything and made big problem with our location., so after more then 20 minutes , there was still not made anything.
So we ask other salespersons, there were 3 of them free , to assist but after 30 minutes our patients was finished
and we were planning to leave without our Miele. The lady put her phone away and walked away, a salesman told us that we better go elsewhere..............we were flabbergasted as NOBODY was interested in a sale, they act that they have too many clients (in Italian non-mi-freganisme)
So after more than a half hour without anything we asked for the manager, and that lady started a discussion with us , a useless discussion , instead of talking to us and try to repair the sales , totally incompetent.
So it is in that shop from low to high same wrong mentality.
We went to Trony , within 10 minutes we were ready after a very friendly and thoughtful person who wanted to help clients & make sale for his boss, the way it should be. .
We were missing that mentality totally in MediaWorld Lucca. Because of the pleasant service at Trony we bought also a Dyson floor washer.
All the prices were the same as MediaWorld , shipment without any problem (and faster)

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THIS COMPANY THAT NEEDS DELIVERY!!! Mediaworld takes NO responsibility for what their couriers do!
They send couriers to your house that firstly don’t comply with delivery dates without notice.. then they destroy your property (in our case a €800 dishwasher down our stairs) and then tell you to F*** Off in your yard when you ask who they are.. (because they don’t tell you and show up in a rented truck) AND best of all you have to physically return to Mediaworld to try and resolve the issue (because they only have a call center number in Albania)... just to be told “it’s not their problem” and now 6 weeks later of trying to resolve this issue I am forced to send my lawyer after them. Oh and lastly, we just pulled out the other dishwasher- (a €1,300 Miele) from the space where the other one was installed by their courier that day, only to find it all banged up!! Now, I’m supposed to take this up with that horrible, unprofessional courier again!!
