I went to MediaWorld to buy a Dyson air purifier. After asking several staff, they pointed me to a man, who when I asked for help, told me to take a number from the machine. I am a kind person and asked nicely. The number being served never changed. Finally, someone took pity on me and found a staff member. I told him I wanted the Dyson HP1 and needed a VAT tax form for a refund of Italy's 22% VAT. He gave me all the paperwork. And then I paid. The cashier took my paperwork and didn't give it back to me. I only noticed after I finished lunch. I walk back to get the paperwork and the cashier says she doesn't have it. So another cashier fills out the form. And writes my passport number down wrong. I notice this when I go to get my VAT refund and was told because my passport number was wrong, I could not receive my VAT refund. Lesson: this store has deplorable staff and messes up every way, so you can't get your VAT tax refund. No one can make this many mistakes and not have an agenda. GO ELSEWHERE TO BUY YOUR PRODUCTS IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY!
