I shopped at the CrossIron store
I shopped at the CrossIron store. The sales lady was amazing, very helpful and friendly. However, the sweater I bought literally fell apart after 1 wear. The sweater has 2 large rips in the front, 1 rip in the back. I wore it for maybe 5 hours total. I was sooo disappointed- it was not cheap, but alas cheaply made I guess. I left an honest review on their website, but they did not post it. The only reviews they seem to post are positive 5 star reviews. Misleading and dishonest.

While I do like many of the clothes they carry in store, I have never had a delivery arrive at my home within any reasonable time frame. They send items separately but use one tracking number which makes it impossible to find your second or third items from an order. I have called them to discuss these issues and they don’t EVER return a phone call. Horrible on-line service.
Low quality for high price
Two of the blouses I bought online were not fit. It seemed that these 2 were final sale as the other 2 in my order, which I did not recall at the time of purchase. Probably the policy changed while the items were delivered.
Anyway, one of the items($59 after 50%discount) was such poor quality, which probably one easily can get for less than $20 on Temu. The other one, probably the size was wrong since its' small size looked on me as if it was large, the sleves literally fall off my arms although they have generous elastic inserted. I contacted customer service and asked for exchange not refund, but nothing happened.
This is not the only disappointing experience with Melanie Lyne this year, but probably the last one.
I bought a dress for a wedding but…
I bought a dress for a wedding but ended up not wearing it. I did not look at the dress since I bought it from the store. So I returned it but the store refused to accept it. The store manager said it cannot be returned or exchanged without the black tag. I was confused since the price tag was still there, I did not take off any tag from it since I did not wear it. The store gave a customer service number to call but was useless.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.
Poor customer service
I have been a loyal customer of this brand and have always enjoyed shopping in-store. However, my recent experience with their online shopping has been disappointing.
The return policy for final sale items is not clearly stated upfront. You have to sift through multiple promotional messages before finding a note about non-refundable items. Additionally, this information is not included in the order confirmation email, which I found misleading.
Customer service has been unhelpful in addressing my concerns, and overall, I find this lack of transparency quite frustrating. I would advise caution when shopping online with this brand.
Refused to exchange coat purchased online…

I purchased a coat on a whim and I really loved it. Unfortunately way too big. I bought three different sizes within 30 days. The first return was no problem and I walked out with an additional two pairs of pants! I just received perfect size 10 five days ago. They would not accept the return for the unworn perfect condition tags still on buttons wrapped size 12.
So now I have two of the exact same coat in different sizes. Very unhappy customer service experience. I tried to escalate my case in store and on customer service line but they refused. Do not understand why they do not want my business but thought it important to spread the word.

Deceitful and dishonest! They did not honour their return policy for a dress I purchased online for my daughters wedding which clearly stated I had 14 days to return it. When I went into the store the same day I received the dress, the clerk told me their policy changed and I could not longer receive a refund and only a store credit. "Customer service" replied, there was a new policy - sorry you missed it?! I have a screen shot of their policy on my order confirmation email that says I have 14 days to return the dress. Unbelievably horrible way to treat a customer. I would never step foot in this 'store' again.

We did shop in Melanie Lyne in Tswassen mills in Delta and had a great experience. The salespeople were very nice and helpful and helped us find what we loved and the right size. Especially a lovely lady called Vanshika was very sweet and helpful.

Return Policy Not Found Anywhere
I purchased a blouse from ML Coquitlam centre. I am sure I heard that return policy is within one month. I returned it after 16 days. They refused to return my $ saying their return policy is 14 days. I did not read it on their receipt. However the sales person consulted with her supervisor, who consulted with the store manager who insisted to give me a gift card. I did not read any where that the return policy is 14 days. Staff has not been customer friendly at all. This is not an acceptable attitude from such a high end store.
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever! My purchase order was lost in post and had to deal with both Canada post and ML staff to prove that I didn’t receive the package and it was misdelivered to another address. They told me first that they will send me another jacket similar to the one lost then they changed their mind and told me to deal with Canada post to get compensation! Ordeal still going on! Will never buy anything from them again!

The sales associates at the west Edmonton mall location were ignorant when i entered this store location. I wasn’t acknowledged or greeted let alone ask for assistance. If Melanie Lynn prides their clothing as being high quality then the staff should also be pleasant and friendly.
I noticed upon walking in, none of the 2 staff on duty took notice. This is awful customer service as well as not being treated well because I’m a person of colour. It is imperative that everyone needs to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race, gender, religion etc.
Refund taking forever
I ordered a dress online and unfortunately they canceled my order because this dress was out of stock. I do understand that this happens sometimes but taking forever to refund the amount is really ridiculous. Why do I have to pay interest on my credit card for item that was canceled and not even shipped, will they refund the interest paid too.
I will never buy again online from this store .
Avoid using their Gift Card…
Used a $250 gift voucher for online purchases which I discarded after use. Had to return a couple of items instore but was told I could only have the money refunded on new gift card which had to be sent out to me by post from ‘Head office’. This would take at least 10 days! The store manager said she was not able to issue a refund on a store card there neither was I able to use my refund to buy something else. No other store has this policy. Absolutely ridiculous. Customer service awful. Never buying a gift card from this store again.
I would give a ZERO for experience if I could.

I walked into the Masonville, London, On store this morning with a pair of pants I had bought some months ago. I was actually wearing a similar pair in a different colour today. I showed the manager a flaw that must have been there since the pair was first stitched but came apart now. She first assumed I wanted to exchange, I said no just support with a fix. She refused, bought too long ago, no seamstress for fixing etc. I have been in their system for the past several years but will no longer be walking into this store. The flaw was not created by me and I now understand there will be no support forthcoming. Incidentally, I had gone into the store yesterday but was asked to return today as the manager would be in. Waste of my time and money.
Super Fancy Clothing Store
Melanie Lyne is owned and operated by the same founder of Laura. The company sells the most fancy, classy, beautiful looking clothing a person can ever want. The outlet stores have wonderful sales you cannot miss! I find styles, designs, cuts, patterns, and colours of tops here that I can't find anywhere else. At the mall, it's super pricey, but at an outlet, it's a dream come true. They excel even other 'big brand names' most people hear about, but that don't have half the style as Laura and Melanie Lyne. If you're someone who is looking for something beautiful, something classy and stylish, something full of colour, patterns, and design, not the ordinary or average clothing, then shop at this company.
