Very lightweight and thin board with strong elastic bands for repetitive action - sometimes too strong, launching the pucks up and over the barrier! A downside is the sound of the discs constantly pinging off the wood can start to grate after a while, but usually matches don't last that long anyway.
Seemed like a good alternative to tabletop air hockey and to get away from screens. Opened it up to check it was okay, slung a few pucks and on the fifth go one snapped in two. The wooden board is very light and cheap but in fairness the elastic seems sturdy. I’m sure the pucks will be easy to replace by sawing a few dowels but it’s not the point. I’m glad I bought this for myself and not as a gift as I would be gutted to find out it broke so easily. Wouldn’t recommend buying
