I visited the shop last weekend with my friend Bev (she is the Bear collector).
Leanne greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the Bears and the company.
What started as a weekend visiting Ironbridge with a trip to the shop ended up as a weekend in the shop with a trip to Ironbridge! Leanne and of course, the Bears, absolutely made our weekend.
I loved the history of the company and the fact they are a great British company producing a top quality product.
Having ordered one today it appears I am now a Bear collector. Many thanks.

Such a great experience purchasing from Merrythought. I bought the 18" Edward bear and the classic Paddington. They are so beautiful and characterful. Their faces seem to have real expressions and their fur is so soft and deep, I just love them. I love the history of the company too.
Delivery was smooth with very good packaging.

I bought the teddy weeks ago and with post slowing down I had completely forgotten about the teddy bear until it arrived today

Merrythought are an traditional company with exemplary customer service. I decided many years ago to gift every grandchild a bear on their first birthday - one that would last them a lifetime. I just ordered what I think should be the last one - number 9 - all of which have been wonderful.

Merrythought CS has been excellent. As an example, a recent bear was going to Taiwan. Louise from CS cut out & added a Chinese character label in addition to the normal English version, just to make sure it was delivered correctly, (which it was this afternoon).

First class customer service, if only all retailers could behave like this! Speedy delivery, well packaged and a very simple website to navigate.
First class product too, a perfect traditional Teddy Bear for a new grandchild to love, just as my children have treasured their Merrythought bears for many years.
