I would not recommend MDC Firedoor…

I would not recommend MDC Firedoor based on my experience.

I hired Mark Cain to carry out fire door work, but I subsequently had concerns about the installation and raised these concerns directly with him. I asked for the issues to be properly addressed and gave him the opportunity to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the response or the proposed resolution.

I have kept photographs, correspondence and other documentation relating to the work and the subsequent discussions.

If you are considering using MDC Firedoor, I strongly recommend that you confirm in writing exactly what work will be carried out, the relevant fire-door specification and installation requirements, and what will happen if defects or concerns are identified afterwards.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.
