Save your money to go somewhere else because if something goes wrong with their Network customer service told me sorry but there's nothing they can do in pretty much you wasted your money on service that cuts in and out all day everyday and I don't mean just once or twice I mean hundreds of times they don't care how long of a customer you've been with them I was with them for years and the manager was rude and pretty much said sorry but it's not his problem

Apparently the owner of 17 locations in…

Apparently the owner of 17 locations in Charlotte North Carolina is owned by a man by the name of Omar I will omit his last name however I purchased three new phones and noticed on the third day that one of the phones did not have tap pay so I proceeded to the store that is located on sunset and beatties Ford road asking for an exchange.the day before I ha went to the store at 6:00 p.m. they were closing early and the young lady at the door simply said when I told her what the issue was that I had seven days to return the phone if I had any issues and to come back in the morning which is what I did, when I got there the young man contacts the owner, let him know that hey this young lady she would like an exchange the phone Moto g 2026 doesn't have tap pay the phone is still brand new she just purchased it three days ago with no issues she just says it doesn't have NFC on it.the owner then tells him by no means and in no way is he to make a refund or do any exchange.I contact MetroPCS directly to ask them what their policy is and indeed the woman on the phone says no the policy for Metro PCS is that we will exchange as long as there's no thing wrong with the phone it's less than 200mg that have been used and talk time is limited I did meet those qualifications however still yet the owner refused to do anything about it so I'm with the phone that I purchased 3 days ago and I'm not happy with with no resolve. the employees of Omar they are all terrified of this man and employee tells me it's because of him being Arab and stating that he has a lot of money so I guess that means or authorizes him to mistreat people and his customers and just make up rules as he goes as well as not listening or caring about what Metro PCS is policy is.

The employees are terrified of him and because of such even if they know what they're doing is wrong they do it because of fear of retaliation in being fired. I don't know how people are allowed today to handle themselves as though they are God mistreating people taking advantage of people with no regard and no consequences. MetroPCS within itself was of no help or assistance to me either stating that because he is a personal owner that there's nothing they could do from their end in spite of them saying wow when they found out what I told them that he said he didn't care about what their policy is

MetroPCS Returns - Read the Fine Print

Purchased a phone 2 days ago for my elderly father in law on my existing account. Turned out to be to advanced so I tried to return to store. Was told it could not be refunded because it was considered an “upgrade”. Super disappointing given I now have a phone that no one will take advantage off. Shame on me for not reading the small print and shame on them for not clearly explaining the conditions prior to the purchase. $180 down the drain and a serious lesson learned. For every policy there are exceptions and overrides that someone has the ability to perform. It’s polices like this make it super difficult to remain committed when there are so many options out there. Metro PCS - do better!

Javier Metro PCS

Reviewed March 1, 2026

Today is March 1, Sunday 2026 @ approximately 10 AM. I went to the MetroPCS store at the end of Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia, North Carolina. By the DMV and Big lotsI believe he was a Mexican male and his name is Javier. He was very rude. He made me wait for two hours just to LIE and tell me that I could not have my phone number transferred to a loaner phone because the loaner phone had a lock on it. I took the same loaner phone to the MetroPCS in Gastonia on Franklin Boulevard next to the American deli and I had my number transferred to the loaner phone by an expert named Tierra!!’ she was very helpful. She should’ve been a manager with her expertise, patience, customer service skills, along with her bubbly attitude… she was able to solve the issues that I needed to have resolved! The loaner phone that was given to me by Apple because my phone would taken two weeks to be fixed. When I left Javier,my intentions were to go with another phone provider either Spectrum ,Verizon or cricket. He was very unprofessional, condescending, and he is a liar! If it had not been for Tierra I would have been with another carrier!!!

If I could give these people a ZERO I…

If I could give these people a ZERO I would. do not mess up and get your home or business internet with these people. If your phone messes up and is to where you can not get a text which would be a reason to call customer service they will not help you because they can not send you a pin to a text. They will tell you to go to the nearest store which could be 200 miles away and when you get there they at the store have to call them and you go through the same process again only to be told nothing they can do. The store is not corporate owned so they will not help you in any way unless you buy a new phone which is more and likely used anyways. Just like the internet boxes. I would suggest you all file a complaint form with the FCC. for their scams and failures in giving people what they pay for. By the way this is the company that was suied in New York for saleing used phones as new ones.

Metropcs is greedy and agents are rude

I had service with metropcs. I used their "change my due date" service several times, the agent would change my due date and prorate my charges, tell me exactly what to pay. I would pay the exact amount I was told every time. Last month, I chatted customer service like I always did and changed my due date. Paid the exact amount of prorated charges. Then, the next day I had no phone service. I go to an actual store. The employee had no idea why I was shut off. He called metropcs phone agent and was told I changed my due date too much, didn't pay all of the charges so they canceled my account. This was the first I heard that apparently you can only change your due date twice. Also it was the first time I heard I owed them money. Every time I spoke with metro to change my due date, I paid exactly what they said and they never told me there was a limit to changing it. I was only told AFTER they canceled me. Then they wanted over the monthly charges to turn my services back on. I ended up getting a new service provider. I then disputed the last prorated charge because they didn't honor the change of due date. They refused to refund me. My bank dispute team called them on three-way with me and metro argued with me that I knew all along their limit to change the date and I owed them. Metro would NEVER keep anyone's service on if they owed them... this is common knowledge. Now, my bank wouldn't even refund it. At this point, it's the fact that they flat out lied and didn't even hold their end of the deal.
The agents are rude and the company is greedy. They are being sued anyway. It's better to go with Verizon att or any company that uses agents in America... even if they are a but more expensive.

Terrible company

Terrible company. DO NOT TRUST! Ordered a phone and these clowns shipped me a defective device.
Then expect me to pay to add another line rather than replace the piece of garbage phone they sent me.
Why do i have to pay for your mistakes? Trash company.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever, this company allows the computer to adjust things and issues for it. My bank flagged them as being fraudulent. They are now refusing me to pay over the phone or on the app. With cards I’ve been using for years. Won’t give me an extension because of the issue last month and it being within 30 days. Once your phone goes off, they want you to pay with cash. Which means take money out your bank, possible atm fee, pay an additional $5 on top of your bill or burn out your gas. This company is not worth all that with its shity service. Service barely works. Especially, traveling. I e had them for over 10 years and that doesn’t matter. They don’t care if you’ve had them 20 years long as they’re getting your money. Pissed me clean off.

By far Metro PCS is the best

By far Metro PCS has is the best, and has amazing customer service over the phone and 8 of 10 times in store because it gets busy. I have been with metro for over 6 years and I've always had knowledgeable helpful reps that are willing to assist with all my meed and really try and help me get the best deals and most out of my service. They rin in the TMobile network and that's if not the best top 3. I can't exclude that the rates and top notch and the phone selection is huge. Every well known device is almost always available unless they sold out but avail at another store or within a day or two. Stop wasting your money else where Metro PCS is your place to get connected. Guaranteed service everywhere. Thank you Metro you guys deserve a 5 Star review.

Oh my God I don't understand this woke…

Oh my God I don't understand this woke society I went to two of their stores today 1-11- 2026 it's a Sunday. No one's ever heard of this before but for some strange very strange reason this store along with the store in Darby yes I had to drive that far to find another store do not open on Sunday until 5:00 p.m. who in God's name is driving out there looking for a Metro store at 5:00 in the afternoon what is a stay open till like 11:00? It's backwards woke craziness and I don't understand how these companies don't fire these people and say look we have to find another way to do this because these people aren't working normal hours they don't know what they're doing when you get into the store many times for instance I went for a new phone last year and all the phones they had was over $225. Which is another taking advantage of Americans I don't think Metro along with many other of these phone companies sell businesses whatever you want to call them are run by Americans. It's like ever since these dei programs and political correctness exploded off of social media where people spend 25 years on there looking at the screen moaning, "DUUUH. IT'S GLOWING." This is the society we have and if you think it's okay then there's something mentally wrong with you and I bet you are on every social media platform out there bullying and telling everybody else how wrong they are for speaking reality. This company is so bad I don't understand the hours American people do not have those hours there are mothers who need to go to work there are men who need to take care of their families there are people who need to have free time from the stress in America and all word dealt with all we have to deal with pardon me, is these moronic people who were brainwashed from living on social media for 25 years they don't know what's real and what's not they're scary. What a terrible company absolutely pitiful.

Metro PCS is good to me

I have been with MetroPCS since 2017 (8 years) and so far so good. I don't have any issues with drop calls, If I need a Customer Service Representative on the phone thru the app, they answer the phone immediately and I only pay $64 a month for the unlimited plan with data plus insurance protection and long distance for Canada to call my father. I was with T-Mobile before Metro PCS for 15 years and I was paying $100 a month for an unlimited plan. Metro PCS I'm saving money. I am shocked to read the numerous negative reviews about Metro PCS. So far, they have been good to me.

Mostly I've had good luck and help when it comes to metro. So really I have to do right by their star rating. The only issue I've had was recent in them telling me a brand new unlocked phone was locked into another carrier when it was in fact just a lack of insight from the person I was speaking with that didn't know what they were doing. The second person I spoke with got the phone activated. You could tell with the second person immediately they he knew what he was talking about and what to do. There's a trick when going from regular SIM cards to E Sims and Metro doesn't yet support Sim to E Sim transfers so they have to redo your E Sim. Some companies you can just scan your old phone and the new one can just absorb the old sim number.

No pro-rated refund upon cancelation?!

Beware: Been a customer of metro for 7 years and I decided to switch to Verizon a few days after making a payment to metro and they wouldn't give me ANY portion of my prepaid monthly payment back. They must be going bankrupt to be that dishonest and petty. So glad I left now.

I am writing to formally file a…

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a recent issue I encountered with a phone purchase made through MetroPCS technical support over the phone. I have been a loyal MetroPCS customer for over eight years, currently maintaining four active lines, and until now, I have always been satisfied with the service.

During my call with technical support, I explained to the representative that I was having issues with my current device and simply needed to swap phones. The representative informed me of a special offer for a replacement phone for $50—no more, no less. This seemed reasonable, and I agreed to proceed with the purchase, providing my credit card information.

I was explicitly told that once the phone arrived, I could call customer service and it would be activated immediately with no issues.

However, upon receiving the phone, both MetroPCS technical support and the nearest MetroPCS store in Clermont informed me that the device I received was intended for a brand-new account, not an existing line. This is completely opposite of what I requested and what I was told during the purchase. I never asked for a new line—I only requested a device swap for my existing service.

Additionally, I was told during the initial call that I could use this phone overseas, which is important because I travel frequently. I have now been informed that the device cannot be unlocked for one year, making it unusable for my travel needs. This is a major inconvenience and a clear case of misrepresentation by the call center.

This situation has caused unnecessary frustration, wasted time, and financial inconvenience. I feel that I was misled by MetroPCS technical support, and the product I received does not align with what was promised.

If this matter is not resolved promptly and fairly, I will have no choice but to file a report with the Better Business Bureau, as what occurred appears to be deceptive and misleading business practice.

I respectfully request the following resolution:

Immediate correction of the issue, including activating the phone on my existing line as originally intended, OR

Replacement with the correct device that can be used with my current account, unlocked as promised, OR

A full refund, if the above cannot be resolved.

I expect timely communication from MetroPCS corporate to address this matter. I appreciate your attention and look forward to a swift resolution

MetroPCS's reception and their customer service suck and they don't honor what their agents say

When dealing with discount providers, you can say things like you get what you pay for or what do you expect at that price. But when companies screw up and all of it is documented and all calls are recorded and then don't make it right, that is wrong regardless of how much you pay. Metro PCS agent walked me through adding my new phone to my old line using on their site and she said I could use the E-sim (which I had never heard of until this phone) and when I did it, it looked like it worked, but it made it so I couldn't use my phone other than emergency calls and I couldn't fix the issue with their customer service since they couldn't send me a 6 digit code over text to confirm my account. I was in the middle of nowhere helping my mom after a triple bypass and their only solution after almost 2 hours on the phone and speaking to supervisors was to drive 3 hours round trip to a PCS store with my ID so they could verify it was me...they said all I need is my ID. So I didn't have use of my phone for a week and missed important calls. Then at the store they asked me my payment due date as a security question. I have been on auto debit and paperless statements since I started with them 7 years ago... I know my cycle date, but not my due date. I'm on the road and couldn't look up my acct online without the text verification, so I checked my credit card statement online which tells me when they charge me, but not the actual due date which was 2 days later as it turns out. Their agent said if I didn't know give the correct answer after a set number of tries they will lock my account for 72 hours. Then I get home to find out they over charged me according to the 3 prior reps I spoke to as part of getting a new phone through their new line promo. The agent who set it up told me I would get an email with terms and conditions and to be sure I read it, but I never got anything other than one email that said about activating once I got the phone... no receipt, no term and conditions. Their reception sucks, their customer service sucks...but worst of all, they don't honor what their own agents say on recorded lines. YOU REALLY DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!
