Customer interaction is zero

Customer interaction is zero. Its like you feel bad for giving them, the company your custom.
To be told by the driver it is now an over seas call centre adds up to the lack of communication.
Had my time and patience with metro.

If could leave no star review I would

If could leave no star review I would. Taxi booked for short journey in Bishops Sortford to the station mid adternoon. Afrer 30 min delay and 5 calls asking where cab was excuses were, 6 mins away, no record of booking (!), trainee must have got it wrong and we don't cover that area!! Missed 2 trains and got friendly neighbour to do the job. Awful service.

Terrible service

Terrible service. We will never use this company again.
I booked a taxi for 5 people on Thursday to take us from Hitchin to Bishops Stortford on the Saturday, to be picked up at 6.30 pm, and to return us home at 11.50 pm. I checked with them at 3.00 pm on the Saturday to check everything was still OK, and I was assured that it was. However, the taxi did not come. At 6.45 pm, I called them to see where the taxi was, and was told they had tried to contact me, which was a lie as our phone records all numbers called, and there was no call from Metro Taxis. Rubbish service.

Don't ever write reviews but feel I need to! Order a taxi more than 6 hours in advance to collect me at 1730 to then pick my daughter up from nursey. Then pre-booked another from 18:00 from her nursey to take me home. The taxi that was booked for 1730 never showed up to point I was at home and got notification the taxi from 18:00 was on its way which I then needed to cancel due to lack of management that resulted in 2 fares lost for yourselves and myself walking and picking my blind 3 year old daughter up in the rain and walking her home. This isn't the first time the service had wronged me which has prompted me to do this review and previously been told by your drivers its because at around that time of day most of your employees are delivering McDonald's because its better pay. Massive inconvenience to people lives that makes customers angry and don't feel this service is efficient enough to offer the people of Stockport a reliable transport service.

Ordered airport pick up 3 hours in…

Ordered airport pick up 3 hours in advance, gave flight details, called after we've gone through the security and was told to come out. Waited in freezing cold at 1am with 2 kids for 35 mins. Called an operator and she shrugged any responsibility saying she's just there to relay the job to the driver?!? When he finally came, not a word of apology. He asked me to go in the house for cash even though I said I'll pay with card only when I ordered (back from holidays and had no cash). He tried to charge me extra as he couldn't work out his card machine. I was fuming and frozen to the bone.

Went to the office to complain. Left my number as manager was out. Week later still no call back. Went in again just to be told they are busy and don't have time for my complaint (as they carried on with office chat in front of me).

Ordered a tax via the app

Ordered a tax via the app. Went to meet the taxi when it said it was here. It was torrential rain, I approached the taxi ased on the colour, make and registration provided and gave my name and the driver said he wasn't there for me. I told him that his car was detailed on the booking but he said my taxi was on its way. He then drove off and I received a cancellation text. There was no other taxi en-route. Rude and totally unprofessional.

Ordered a taxi,the trip there was fine

Ordered a taxi,the trip there was fine, confirmed the return at 23:00 with them in advance and also with the driver

No taxi, on phoning them they claimed it was booked for midnight very poor service, even though they said the cab would be dispatched immediately no taxi 45 minutes later

The taxi turned up an hour late and then demanded extra money as it was after midnights

Do not rely on this company

As the driver arrived he asked me to pay upfront £4 and I told him I'll pay him when I've reached home and that I usually pay £2.80 to £3 . He insisted on paying him and I said I usually pay when I get home because I've always used metro. He then shouted I think what I heard "get the f*uck out*" I was shocked as to what I heard. I was about to swear back but maintained my composure and unfortunately had to get home by a car. So I paid him and told him you will hear from your manager and he shrugged it off. He also didn't give my change until I asked him to. Absolutely disgusting customer service and don't think will be using metro again.

Outstanding Service! Would highly recommend this company.

First time user of this company, but have to say that the service they provided this evening was Brilliant! Had ordered a taxi from another company to pick my elderly mum up from Manchester airport but was let down by them.
Phoned Metro Taxis and straight away they said they would leave Bradford to go fetch her. Mum had been visiting me in the outer Hebrides so ordering the taxi was for the last part of her journey home. She was very nervous about flying on her own due to her limited mobility and the fact she had literally been shielding at home due to Covid, with limited contact from anyone in the past year. They told me to tell her to stay in the terminal and that they would phone her when they arrived to find out where she was, so that they could come find her and escort her to the taxi. Mum cannot walk very far, so this was perfect for her. Can’t praise Metro Taxis enough for the quick and efficient service they provided along with a very polite driver who’s name I unfortunately didn’t get.
If you need a taxi in Bradford whether for a short or long journey, then consider this company.
Thank you so much for the excellent service and for being there when needed. We will definitely use your service again!

No Respect for Drivers. VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The Company has no respect for its drivers. Driver are meant to help customers go from point A to B. However, the company makes its drivers deliver products and goods to places instead even tho its a taxi company. I'm a heart patient so i had trouble doing this and asked them if i could do other jobs they said fine then. They then stopped giving me jobs to airports, i complained, they said that i had heart problems. I said that i cpuld lift small amounts of luggage but had problems carying products a long way away from my car and coming back and forth which consumed my time. They allowed me to have airport jobs then. However, whenever i tried getting a job they used to prevent me from doing so as if they were trying to tease me. They then said that they didn't need me. very rude. I've use lynx taxis and Uber and they are ten times better than metro

Very Friendly

Recently used Metrotaxis (minicabs) to pick me up from the Bradford station.
Even though the driver had to wait 10 minutes for the delayed train he was friendly and didn't charge extra.
In the unlikely event need again a taxi in Bradford, would certainly use Metrotaxis.
