We work directly with a small group of 48 coffee farmers in the magical mountains of Northern Malawi and experiment with different coffee processing techniques. We then import unroasted coffee into the UK where we roast, package and deliver fresh to your door! Our unique approach to the coffee industry links growers directly to consumers to create better deals for our friends, the coffee growers and better coffee for our customers.

Had an order of coffee

Had an order of coffee, which was very stale, did not have roast date on it either. Roast level looked ok and idea great, but just no aroma,after trying various strengths/extraction ratios coffee tastes old.
Send them a message via website 'Contact Us' form as i wouldnt write public review first, but never got an answer.
Then few weeks later, received an email asking to rate coffee which I gave two stars and explained why for their website. It was a few lower reviews there. Guess what, they deleted all lower reviews. Also never contacted me??? Very dishonest, i got a screenshot of my review which isnt there anymore!

Good value but..

Just got a bag of honey processed coffee delivered, I usually drink Skylark

I loved MFC transparency and ethos on Instagram thus decided to give it a go

I can say everything is as described , no faff ,basic and clean packaging timely delivery

Tastes average as they need to improve on roasting

Beans seems over roasted even I could few undergrown beans after two weeks of brewing from same bag

If you're not keen on these things it's great value

I hope in future they improve on roasting techniques and deliver better coffee ,
I wish there was sample pack before committing to whole 1kg.

Great service & coffee

Update: I had a really kind email from Cam, offering a replacement bag and I don't think you can get better than that.

I placed an order (order #00797) for a kilo of the naturally processed coffee and received it in really good time, 3 days after purchase.
Sadly what I received was a kilo of coffee in an open pack, it wasn't sealed properly and there isn't a visible roast date that I can see.
I now have a potentially great coffee that's gotten quite stale after being in the open for a few days

Hey Mike, sorry to hear the bag was open. That’s really annoying and a packaging fault on our end. We’d be more than happy to refund you completely including shipping and send you a fresh new bag free of charge. All of our coffee is roasted the week it’s dispatched, between online orders and our coffee shop we go through a fair amount so we’re constantly roasting, there’s usually a small sticker indicating the roast date, sorry if it wasn’t on there. Thanks for pointing these things out and let us know if you’d like another bag :)

This is so good

This is so good, I don’t really enjoy other coffee the same any more. Always arrives a couple of days after ordering… what’s not to like

Firstly this stuff tastes and smells…

Firstly this stuff tastes and smells out of this world. Secondly it feels good to buy from a brand that is clear about it's ethos of providing great quality from a single origin.
The compostable packaging makes the whole experience super easy too.
