Digital textbook signs me out every 5…

Digital textbook signs me out every 5 minutes. I can't copy anything out of the textbook for TTS or anything else. I asked for a PDF copy and was told they don't provide them, even for an extra cost. It is the worst format of textbook I have ever used.

I use this site for my excel…

I use this site for my excel assignments, and one day it wants to work and then the next it does not. I probably spend more time trying to get the site to work than actually doing my assignment. It is fine with the multiple-choice assignments but anything involving excel is a headache for the rest of the night.

This site makes me wanna gouge out my eyes with a dull piece of splintery wood.... No point in this useless website. Do 4 hours of work for an assignment that's just random questions, not actually helping you retain or learn the information. I believe lazy teachers use it as a default when they don't/cant teach effectively.

McGraw‑Hill curriculum is the worst I've ever used

McGraw‑Hill curriculum is, without exaggeration, one of the poorest educational platforms I have encountered. The assignments frequently contain “gotcha” questions, including scenarios where multiple answers are technically correct but only one is accepted, or where the answer marked as correct is objectively inaccurate. This undermines both learning and assessment integrity.

The written material is unnecessarily convoluted, relying heavily on overly complex, compound sentences that obscure rather than clarify key concepts. Instead of supporting comprehension, the structure of the content actively hinders it.

The testing environment is equally problematic. Exams are prone to technical failures, including mid‑test logouts and unreliable document‑upload requirements that may or may not function correctly. These issues create an unpredictable and unfair testing experience.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise students to avoid courses that rely on McGraw‑Hill materials. If a class requires this platform, I recommend dropping it immediately and discussing alternative options with an academic advisor.

McGrawHill is just useless

McGrawHill is just useless. It has never been beneficial for me, and it does not help me learn things just because it repeats the same stupid questions 50 times.

This company is ran by satan.

They make it impossible to copy/paste a question. This is just one of the ways they have made the unpleasant task of homework into a grueling labor. You also call not right click a link in the exercise to see where in the chapter it wants an answer from, having two windows open at once with the ability to read both the question and the chapter page. No, you have to click it. But when you click it you cannot hit the back button to go back to the question where you left off. It just goes back to a previous page. You have to go to the side panel and find it again but don't forget what you just saw on the page because you will have to do it all over again.

I wish ill on everyone involved in the decision making. I hope for the rest of their lives they have to use ebooks like these every single day. They even have ads built into the books that make them confusing to use. If I knew what I was getting into I would have just paid three times as much because this is not worth what I saved. I'm on the verge of finding a lawyer for unnecessary suffering. Do not buy anything from them.

Update your Text-To-Speech Option!

They really need to update their text-to-speech option. It's completely unhelpful when you can't choose where it reads. The little timeline thing is so widely inaccurate, it makes using the TTS a whole headache. Additionally, it would be helpful if the TTS featured a word highlight as it read along to allow the user to keep up with the reader. And why can't I use my own read aloud extension on this website? It works for every other website but Mcgraw hill. Fix it PLEASE.

McGraw Hill creates garbage products

McGraw Hill creates awful products. They don't mention if they're going by the bankers' convention of 360 days (but your answer is suddenly right when you go and look that up yourself—and before you tell me that's part of learning, no employer would hide that) don't mention if they're doing anything else in a style you wouldn't expect; their answers are sometimes wrong, their products are bad bad bad bad bad, but as long as they can corner the market for a while they don't care about making it better. Hubris. McGraw Hill sucks. And their products suck too.

Website is a SCAM!

Their website subscription model is a complete scam. Make this make sense: you pay $100+ online (the same value as a brand new textbook) for TEMPORARY ACCESS to the textbook, without any option to keep a PDF for yourself.

The textbook itself isn't even that valuable, and has information that you can easily find online - but if I'm paying $100 for this book, I want to keep it permanently. I hate how the website intentionally blocks any method of saving the textbook for future reference - I find that misleading.

It's a shame how the authors and publishers probably won a bid with my academic institution to have their specific books recommended in classes. Just like how pharmaceutical companies sell their products to pharmacies, it's not the best product that wins: it's whoever makes the best deal.

I find it extremely unethical to operate this way: being indirect about what you're actually getting when you pay for these website subscriptions, and the company is capitalizing on students who have no other choice but to buy your book as per curriculum requirements.

Don’t understand the point of this…

Don’t understand the point of this useless website. You are doing 4 hours of work for an assignment that’s worth .5% of your grade. I could get an A on my final and absolutely fail the McGraw assignment just because of how it works. Hope professors stop using this for the sake of the students time and patience.

This app is a threat to children's mental health

This app is pure horrible. HORRIBLE. And this isn't just an angry student, no no no. This is a problem with EVERYTHING. As a student who enjoys a bright and happy learning environment, I do not appreciate when apps suck booty hole. Not only could I find their curriculum on Ebay for 2 cents. They also somehow can't seem to know how to work a simple website! Where are those millions of dollars going? Cause it better be funding my therapy after this. In conclusion, this stinky, glitchy, bunghoolio app should NEVER be forced onto students.

I have only used this site for… Reading

I have only used this site for purchasing and reading e-books. The site closes after what feel like 5 minutes of inactivity. Even when you are using the e-book it can close quite often but you cannot just refresh the site oh no you need to close it and sign in again and again. This might sound like a minor issue but for long reading sessions for completing assignments you will be banging your head against a wall after the first hour. I dont think i could find a worse e-book reading site if i tried, please for your own sanity purchase your digital books anywhere else if you are able to unless you want to have a broken computer.
