Fantastic selection and service
Mickfield Hostas have an absolutely amazing selection of hostas and their website was wondefully informative and easy to navigate in letting me select the right one for our garden. Although they don't take internet orders, they replied to my answerphone message the next day and were great - and really friendly - discussing my needs on the phone. The lady was sure to warn me that the plant that I'd ordered would be small when it arrived - it seems that they get people who don't realise that the plants they've ordered won't make an instant big display - but also happy to give guidance about the size of the pot and the size that the finished plant will grow to.
The plant arrived on the day that she said it would, which is important with a bare-rooted plant, as I was able to be in to take delivery. It was well packaged with plenty of 100% recyclable packaging (aka newsprint :-) ) and a small plastic bag around the root section, keeping them nicely moist. The plant arrived in excellent condition and I planted it out straight away.
Overall, extremely pleased.
