Dicksons Hedworth

There's an older lady who works here that has the worst attitude I've ever seen. She slams things around, complains when you ask for something, rolls her eyes at you. I've also witnesses her talking to a younger member of staff like absolute trash multiple times. Terrible person and service.

Bought a packet of pork pies

Bought a packet of pork pies. To be honest I was really disappointed with them. They were so dry I couldn’t eat both of them.Is it really that hard to make a decent pie, and for the price that they cost it was a complete waste.

Absolutely disgusting

As a baker myself I feel I know what constitutes a good product and I feel these are the key areas - constant quality, a product worth returning for, and value for money- all these are missing from Dixons products myself and my wife purchased a cheese pasty today I have to say it was the most sad depressing excuse of a product it was micro thin and looked like the filling had been painted in and it was so salty I can’t understand what has happened to this once dependable quality company who were renowned for that extra bit of quality that has long gone judging by their products this is happened a few times so it isn’t a one off it is sadly the way things have declined at Dicksons it is a shame things have been left to slip so badly but after reading the reviews I can clearly see I am not alone and also it seems reviews are being ignored which tells me nobody cares otherwise they would do something about it

Been using Dicksons for many (40+)…

Been using Dicksons for many (40+) years. Always thought they produced a quality product. Over the past couple of years the quality of the products has deteriorated to an unacceptable level.

I gave them a chance today using a voucher from the metro newspaper to get a plate pie for £3.50.

Upon getting it home both the pastry and filling are very poor. They simply just don't taste nice.

I don't know what is happening with Dicksons product development team but it doesn't seem to be going right.

I will be avoiding from now going forward simply due to the consistently poor quality of their products.

Dicksons Whiteleas

I often come to Dicksons, have done for years since i live in the area... Today I had been to work and done a long hard shift without a bite to eat and need to go shopping so popped into Dicksons for some chips... only to be moaned at because the woman had to put some in. So I said no it's okay ill not bother and I walked out. I understand it can be frustrating when a customer comes in and asks for something that has ran out so you gotta cook more but you can't be moaning there and then when their in the shop. A bit unprofessional to say the least. So now I've gone home starving so thank you!

Robbery

Dixons steak bakes what a disgrace. Nothing but a square piece of pastry must have filled the inside with a brush. Disgusting how can you justify this as a steak big? Robbing people blind

Just attempted to eat a Dickson Cheese and Onoin pasty, no chance ! How disgusting this product is, way too much salt threw both in bin !, £2 wasted !, I cut cut pasties in half before eating, couldn't believe how little filling there was inside, they must put the filling in with a catapult from 50 yards but after tasting this filth it was a blessing that there was so little of it !

Dicksons Hedworth..

Dicksons Hedworth..
The Woman behind the counter was cleaning up an hour and a half before the shop was due to shut, when I asked for a couple sandwich’s I was met with huffs and puffs and ham getting slapped onto the counter like it wasn’t her job to do.. she wore no gloves either and was wiping her hands on her clothes, told her I wanted coleslaw on my sandwiches twice and got home to none. Attitude stinks.

Lost Customer

For years and years I’ve used Dicksons and been prepared to pay that little bit more for quality but lately I don’t know what is going on. This has been about six occasions now I’ve purchased the ham and coleslaw sandwich for myself and my family, lately they have been terrible, very little ham and not so nice and barely no coleslaw at all, dry, dry, very dry. I class this as a treat but at £3.79 per sandwich which is dry and very disappointing, don’t think I’ll be bothering any more.
