🚨 IT Job Scam

🚨 IT Job Scam – Beware of MIIT Technology / Pinkesh Thakker 🚨

I’m writing this to warn others about a fraudulent operation targeting international students and job seekers desperate to break into the IT industry. The person behind this scam is Pinkesh Thakker, who runs a so-called training company called MIIT Technology based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Here’s how the scam works:

🔹 He promises IT training and job placement in exchange for upfront payment — but the "training" is just basic content from free websites like W3Schools.
🔹 He creates fake resumes for you and falsely lists his own company as your past employer.
🔹 He gives you a Microsoft email account (that he controls) to monitor your job hunt and communications.
🔹 If you get a job, he demands 15% of your gross salary and forces you to sign a contract.
🔹 If you refuse to pay, he threatens to report you to immigration (IRCC) or your new employer.
🔹 He pressures students to write fake Google reviews to make his operation look legitimate.

I lost my money and got nothing of value in return. This operation preys on vulnerable people, especially international students and newcomers.

🛑 Please do not fall for this trap. Don’t be fooled by fake reviews or flashy promises. You can learn everything he teaches for free online, without paying thousands or risking your future.

💡 If you’ve already been scammed, I encourage you to speak up and report him. The more people share their stories, the harder it becomes for him to keep operating.
