A bit of a faff to install

Got the wraith 3 wheel clamp for a motorhome, after watching the installation video on their website. Whilst I'm fairly sure its difficult for a thief to remove it's also not that easy to install. you only get one of the required wheel nuts so the wheel needs to be in just the right position to be able to fit the clamp.I see you can buy additional wheel nuts but at around £16 each!

Seized Lock

I bought the product on 02/06/25 and within a week or so, the lock seized solid. I contacted Milenco and they said just put some oil down the barrel, which i did and it worked fine. Today 12/11/25 I was in a carpark, when again it seized solid and so I contacted Milenco and they advised oil down the barrel again. So fortunately the wife was at home she found some oil in the shed and came to my aid and I managed to get it working. Milenco advised that I should put oil down the barrel every few weeks, as part of some maintenance regime. I thought really 🤔 I've paid top dollar for a steering lock, which has the potential to seized up every few weeks🤨 I told the guy, that's not what I'd paid for and that their product was rubbish. PS. I would advised anyone who buys this steering lock should carry an oil can in their boot🙄

Dreadful product / customer support experience!

Dreadful product experience. Product Lock mechanism failed to unlock, leaving us stranded for 5 hours, And the Milenco Customer support team didn’t give a dam. Even when I requested for the issue to be escalated to senior management, Zero support given. It’s got to be the worst customer support experience I’ve encountered in 30 years. I’ll never purchase anything associated with the brand again due to the low quality, This company really need to remember. Great customer support will always cost less than bad customer support in the long run!

Failed pedal lock for campervan

New pedal lock for campervan, used once, lock failed unable to remove. Customer service useless, advice was keep trying! They had no one in the area available to help, we had a holiday booked. A locksmith was unable to remove it, took him hours to drill the lock, cost £250. Milenco will only cover £100 of this. They are willing to replace the faulty barrel lock, not sure I would ever trust it not to fail again. Thank goodness we didn’t have a ferry to catch. Other people have said the locks are tricky and one of the faqs on the website gives advice if the lock won’t open. It appears as if it mustn’t be a rare occurrence.

Quite hard to cut off !

I got a motorhome wheel lock which was quite easy to assemble in the living room but a bit of a tussle outside on the vehicle itself. Unable to either lock or unlock it I abandoned it with the key in and returned to have another go a few days later, managing to snap the key and subsequently cutting the lock off with an angle grinder. To be fair this took me quite a while as it's quite robust - though I imagine a seasoned thief would probably have made a quicker work of it

Dangerous

Our mirrors both fell off on a busy highway on the first trip which could have caused an accident. Both Milenco and the Australian distributor Leisure tech acknowledged in writing the correct fitting instructions for certain vehicles are not included with the product and some vehicles need specific adapters which are not advised with the mirrors when you buy them

Simply brilliant!

Truly amazing customer service! Had a problem with my 13 years old Milenco wheel clamp so I contacted them and explained the difficulty. They asked me to send the clamp to them and then they repaired and renovated it and returned it within 3 days. Furthermore, they refused to accept any payment, not even for the carriage. Doesn’t get any better!

Whilst my steering lock is good

Whilst mtpy steering lock is good, the accessories that come with it are really poor, as they simply fall off. I wrote to the company but was ignored, wrote again and waiting to see if they bother to reply
