Today, MileWay proudly handles everything from residential moves and apartment relocations to corporate and office moves, along with local and long-distance moves across the United States. Movers Brian & Ernie were excellent
Movers Brian & Ernie were excellent. Very effective & professional. Problem is estimate indicated cost between $703 and $893. Estimated job time was 3-4 hours. Estimated travel time was 1 hour between Longmont and Thornton. The total time for job (labor & travel) was 3 hours and 5 minutes. I expected a final cost near $703. They initially charged $893 syaing the job took 3 hours and there was one hour of travel time. In my mind there was 2 hours of labor at $190/hr and 1 hour of travel. Add stairs cost of $100 and fuel of $33. I thought a 3 hour total job beginning to end should have been closer to $703, not $893. They did take off about $70 when I complained.

Your move was requested on very short notice, and our team was happy to accommodate your next-day move. Before the move, we provided an estimated price range of $703-$893 based on the anticipated time, travel, stairs, and fuel charges. The final bill fell within the quoted range, and no charges were added beyond what was originally disclosed.
The confusion appears to stem from how the travel time was interpreted. Our estimate included the travel charges in the pricing range that was provided upfront. We did not add any hidden fees or surprise charges after the move was completed. When you expressed concerns about the billing, we took the time to review everything with you and provided an additional courtesy discount.
We appreciate your business and are pleased that you were satisfied with the quality of the moving crew. We wish you the very best in your new home.
